  1. That soundtrack does not sound like it should be for a 5/5 scare attraction
  2. Are all 4 actually meant to be on at the same time? Don't think I've ever seen all 4 on but thought 1 was always off on purpose
  3. Are all 4 actually meant to be on at the same time? Don't think I've ever seen all 4 on

    Samurai

Not really if they know exactly whats wrong with it and have the parts already to fix it?

    Samurai

3 days closed really isn't a lot is it? And they have done the best thing posting on there website to let people know. I think Samurai has done great this year, since it opened its had hardly any time closed compared to previous years. I've also had the best cycles I've ever had, its constantly running the longer/more intense cycles this year compared to previous years. Lets see how it does for Fright Nights, I've never seen it last the first weekend.

    Samurai

On the website scroller that Samurai will be closed from 23rd till 25th for essential maintenance.
  7. Had the same problem on Friday - had the green smoke for around 10 minutes. I really think they need to do something when these delays happens as it leaves a bad impression of the ride, and seems to happen a lot. Other than that last train journey, it was the best ride I had on the ghost train. Staff on our train were proper going for it and made the evacuation seem really real. The train crash part was also really good due to the actors, chasing people and made everyone run. Apart from a 15 minute break down just before we were going on the ride ran all day from 12 which was good, and was also the first time I've seen it with literally no queue.
  8. New for Fright nights this year - Zombie Academy priced at £50. Not anything I would do personally but can see people being interested in this. Steep price though in my opinion

    X

I thought that while watching it, theres no way that would fit in the current queue line. Just knew nothing about it

    X

Never even knew X had a queue like that! Anyone know when that was removed and why?

    Oblivion

There is actually a chain on that curve at the top of the lift which pulls the train, if you sit on the far left and look down at the track you can see it
  12. It was 30-40 minutes yesterday on 1 train
  13. Yeah it did open around midday yesterday, and then closed at half 1 and didn't re open for the rest of the day. However they did get it open for Summer Nights it seems.
  14. In previous years they allow you to record the Blair witch project so they probably will this year
  15. Everyone has different opinions, I've always say Fright Nights is a lot better but last year I'd say Tulleys was better. I'd go Tulleys if I was you seeing as they're all new mazes, but go to both if you can
  16. The beach was a good location for the bit top because of the interaction of the bridge. With it changing location hopefully we will see a layout change and lots of improvements, as the big top was the worst maze I've done at Thorpe on all my run throughs.
  17. Bit odd how they have fenced off the whole area for just 1 shipping container? Maybe now MBV has gone they could be moving big top to that location? Doubt it but never know
  18. Does this explain why the glitching and flying objects seems to get a lot worse as the day goes on? The computers get too hot so don't run as well?
  19. Agreed. Defiantly can't see loggers coming back. Old town would be the best place for a woodie...
  20. At the moment Stealth is closed as it is awaiting a part, there is nothing the park can do except wait for it to arrive. It'll be back open soon
  21. When you're in a queue for a coaster and someone tells a story about when it was stuck upside-down
  22. On the subject noticed Ben and Jerrys by Vortex was open last time I went for the first time this season, maybe they only open it on peak days now they have Nitrogenie? Not a fan of Nitrogenie so glad it was open
  23. Thats quite worrying... a throughput of 240 an hour. Must be running on reduced trains.
