Does anyone know how busy this park, and other parks in Florida, tend to be in October? Also I know that this park is open 365 days a year meaning that rides could be closed for their yearly maintenance. Does anyone know if they tend to do their main rides during October time or it happens earlier on during the year? Thanks, Any comments would be appreciated.

I've only ever used single rider queues at Alton Towers and I think they're great! I never went to Thorpe park at the time when they were using the single rider ques for some of the rides. Every time I've seen or asked why they got rid of it they've always said people misused it. I just saw this on Facebook replying to someone. How were people misusing the system? The system is for people who are willing to ride alone, I don't see how it can be misused? Also how did this lead to slowing down the queue for everyone else?

I think it's just down the operator, one out of the three times I've visited this year it's been on. One of the times It kept going on for like a second but then it just stopped back and went to the sound effects. The sound effects are very annoying and just doesn't suit it at all in my opinion. In the station the music has been very quiet this year and it's mainly only been playing the dispatch and then silence between loading. I hope they start putting the main theme on in the queue again and I'd love to hear the dispatch theme nice and loudly like it was last year. Whilst on the inferno topic, people who have been recently is the mist still working on or has it given up?

I know they run at fright nights, and I'm not sure about summer nights as I've never been. I can't see it being worth it for them running busses as a very limited amount of people go to summer nights?

Yayyyyy I thought the reason they moved it is because of the photos though? Is this not happening anymore then?

Loving the new website Marc, and everyone else who has spent time on it Loving the new archive section of the website and just the overall look of the website. I also like it how when listening to audio, it doesn't open a new tab. One thing I noticed that was quite annoying which is once you have watched a video, say Stealth's TV advert for example, it will keep playing until you actually stop the video yourself, even if you close the video tab. Is there not a way that the video will stop playing once it's been played, it won't keep playing? When you play the 'Vortex - Pre Load' It doesn't play and comes up with this error message. Also, do you have the music played when Vortex starts spinning, before the main track? The last thing I noticed was that Stealth's main track has gone, the launch theme! It used to be there? Thanks again though, it looks great! EDIT: Don't worry about the other Vortex theme, I've found it elsewhere

Make sure you book online, at the moment Thorpe park are doing a deal if you book online with a group more than 10 you will get free fast tracks for the Swarm! Have fun

The music was really quiet when I was there as well. A shame as it's great, it really fits in. It would be nice to have the music played in the queue as well, as far as I'm aware there are no queue line speakers.

I didn't know they could take 2 boats off? Every time I've been this year it's been on 2 trains and didn't know they could actually take 2 boats off at once, only ever thought there was room for 1? Hopefully it will be back soon, this is the sort of time it's great. Normally on days like this every time I walk past it I cool down in the splash zone

Tidal wave closed about 5 yesterday and hasn't yet opened today. It's a shame and well strange that when it's hot and there's high demand for it, it always seems to break down but during the first couple of months and on fright nights it's fine. I guess it's just used a lot more?

Jason added a photo on his Instagram of the flow rider today, I did wonder if they were going to leave it bare... Looks a lot better, can't wait to see people surf the cloud

I know, it does sound bad. But it's only been Slammer down most of the season, which they could of easily given with but they didn't, and I'm really glad they didn't.

Quantum and Samurai have re opened today! First time this season every ride has been open at the same time, yayyy

Construction update - It was testing today and at the back they have now added changing rooms. I'm guessing that they will supply a wet suit there seeing as a lot of people don't know it's there therefore won't bring a wet suit when going to Thorpe Park (Photos are from southparks facebook page) To be honest I don't think 25 is that bad considering the throughput that it has, but of course this is dependent on how long you get. Hopefully you will get a time limit, and for 25 I think the minimum you should get is around 10-15 mins. If it does last 10 -15 mins and you get to borrow a wet suit there I will probably give it a go and can see it doing quite well.

The fact that he could of got away with this if you hadn't of posted it on twitter angers me... And the thing is, he's not really banned is he? Anyone could buy a ticket for him and then he could just use that. It's not like all the security are going to know every single person that's banned...

It should be that every day, 5:30 is not enough.

I can understand that Fast tracks need to get straight on, if you are paying for fast track and have to queue I can see that dissapointing and understand why people complain. What I don't understand is why they don't seem to have a limit on the amount of Fast tracks sold for a certain time.

I agree. Although I didn't go to Thorpe when they had single riders, at Alton Towers they work really well. It's not affecting the main queue either. I think single riders work really well on rows of 4, instead of 2. I understand they couldn't really have it on Inferno anymore because they don't have space for the queue but if there is an unused que, like on Saw the ride, why not use it?
