Well they don't particularly need any new flat rides but I really would like to see some things like a top spin, a huss booster/shake and roll or something even more extraordinary. I'm just thinking, if thorpe don't bring anything new in the next couple of years, they will lose guests because people will not go back to do the same old rides/attractions again(although they are amazing ) they will probably go to chessie or alton instead. Also I would like a windseeker but this has already been said that it would have to be close to stealths height and also mondial have many problems with their windseekers these days! Just a fun fact: thorpe park was called 'great thorpe park' back in the 1980/1990 when X was built

Will have to keep my eyes open then I'm sure the prices will go up to £50 as they are already at £43 and thorpe's prices go up every year! I just hope some 2 for 1s are released as I'm sure people can't actually afford to pay full price(like my friends) especially when you have to queue for ages! £25 is more reasonable...

Does anyone know if there will be any 2 for 1 vouchers around for the 2013 season? This is because I am going with friends and the entry is going up and they will not want to pay £50 each! Just looking back to quite a few years back when thorpe had some great investments for a couple of years: Tidal wave-2000 Zodiac-2000 Vortex-2001 Colossus-2002 Nemesis inferno-2003 Samurai-2004 Rush-2005 Slammer-2005 Feel free to add in anything I have missed out. I feel that these years WERE all major/medium investments unlike the scrappy investments we get today(storm surge) I hope over the next few years we can do something just like this: The swarm-2012 New ride/refurb + crash pad - 2013 New flat ride-2014 New flat ride + hotel -2015 New rollercoaster-2016 New flat ride-2017 New rollercoaster-2018/2019 I know I am looking far ahead but I just want thorpe to have a good streak to make people come back, the question is, is this actually going to happen like it happened 10 years ago?

That could definately happen if it went undergound- however it is not going to go over the height of 85feet because of the tree limit and oblivion is the highest at 85feet. So the coaster would have to go at least 15 feet underground.

Then the pyramid would have to be changed though and would have to look like it was wrecked otherwise it would make no sense as it looks like a pyramid in the lost city!

Yep, they are not gonna theme X to the swarm when it is not in the same area of the park.

Thinking about it, a wild maus track was seen outside thorpe park just before winter wonderland opened, I remember it having a different colour track to the one at winter wonderland but that could just be my imagination. People were saying that you would not need planning permission to build something in an existing building so why don't they scrap X and replace it? This is just an idea but linking to what everyone has said this is what my theory is: It is a wild maus custom design from thorpe which will be the worlds first backwards wild maus, this links to all the clues as it could be themed to with a scorpion attack etc. just linking people's and mine interpretations together! If it really was a backwards wild maus with amazing theming I would ride it all day long

The rumour of ministry of sound has been going round facebook too I guess we could be seeing multi investments I would love an X retheme but I am not sure about this swarm business. Wouldn't it just be easier to manage etc. if they turned the whole train around seeing as they are keen on making gimmicks! I have a feeling that we will see peppa pig sponsoring the swarm soon

Firstly this was mentioned ages ago... Sounds like a plan to me One concern though, x is in the lost city not Egypt so would it go with the surroundings around it? Also it is rumoured to be rethemed with a sponsor of ministry of sound so I don't think a Egyptian pyramid and nicki Minaj screeching at top volume would go well together

I think you didn't finish there mate One distinct thing I have noticed on thorpe's FB page is that in every photo they have taken, X has not been included, I know this is not particularly relevant but maybe they didn't want to photo it because it had work going on!

Well it's been rumoured to be sponsored by ministry of sound so I think if it is being rethemed it will be a cladding ride, although it will have to be something to with scorpions aswell though I wouldn't mind the old theme coming back as long as it WAS a good theme.

The stupid thing about these is half the people who aren't rollercoaster fans will be like 'what is that?' It really should say coming to alton towers 2013 on it to be honest as I think it is poor advertising when half the people don't know what the symbol is... On facebook people don't even know what the crash pad is so I doubt many are going to know what the smiley face is about'

Yep these are the three clues: 'Are you brave enough to experience the evolution?' This personally hints to nothing... 'The sting is in the tail' this time it points to swarm, the sting is in the tail(end) of the train as the rows will be turned around(possibly) The last clue spells out backwards which also hints to the swarm but also hints to X and as Jordan up there said the clue was completely to do with X. Thorpe are currently teasing us here with their clues! I just think having two rows of the swarm would be a nightmare, in terms of management and queue wise wouldn't it be easier to turn the whole train round? This way they could then scrap their front row queue and not bother with some complicated queueing system! I doubt this will happen though! Also wouldn't having TWO rows turned around make the train look weird?

But they are not keeping the same theme are they? That wouldn't be anything new or INSTALLING anything! To be quite frank, if they changed the theme of X it would be nothing to do with these clues unless they changed it to the same thing! EDIT: just realised that the Themeing was taken away and made into a clubbing ride so they could just be restoring the old Theming but that wouldn't be INSTALLING anything would it?

Looks like what may be happening? To be quite honest anything could happen I don't really want the back two rows of the swarm turned around, if the swarm was turned around I would love to see the whole train turned around, probably not gonna happen! I have never been on submission, however I have heard rumours that it is extremely painful so I don't really want it in thorpe- also 'apparently' they were having maintenance recently to get the second arm working, so I think they would leave that to thorpe if they were moving it! I think we still have lots of options and we need to wait for another clue and then the big reveal...

That's what I said It spells out backwards, I can't think of anything else but a ride being turned backwards now, THE SWARM!!!! However, it is to do with a catastrophic killer which the swarm isn't really to do with, however X or Saw could well be having a retheme! But then saying that saw is nothing to do with backwards, I guess it's X! We can have an awesome retheme which will make the ride awesome

I think it has to be something to do with the swarm- nothing else is to do with killing/end of the world except saw! The clues are getting on my nerves, they are just posting them one after another and no one is actually getting anywhere! How long until they actually tell us what it is? I can't wait! EDIT: OMG the clue has been figured!!!!! Take the first letter of each word and spell it out 'backwards!!!'
