My guess is they will try go back to the original themeing(SCB told me) and use the old theme tune.As for MOS sponsoring, I honestly have no clue but if they are making it a family ride they cannot have MOS sponsoring because then it will only appeal to teenagers again..

I sware in that photo 2 rows are forwards and 5 backwards. Surely it is meant to be the other way round...
-
They are doing one- check out the opening times section for details and the website to book your free tickets on! Its on the 10th march and will be from 10am-5pm
-
I saw that after I posted the comment. Sorry on my phone so harder to view things. I would like to be able to bring a friend for a tenna. I think it could work because you would still have to prebook a ticket. Also they are taking photos of people on the day- I would love to be on the thorpe park website Does anyone know why its through some weird eventbrite instead of merlin entertainments?
-
Looks like they are gonna be prepared this year: they are presumably only giving out a certain amounts of tickets! Just wondering if they are doin a bring a friend for a tenna? Because none of my friends have passes so I was wondering if they could get tickets...
-
Yea it was I doubled checked with him

Wait you won the swarm competition? You were only meant to send a slogan! I so badly wanted to win! My best one was: "Challenge THE SWARM Before it reforms."
-
I know I managed to get on it now Looks good for the moment, I didnt know the actual ride would go through it! I thought it would just go under! "RISK OF GETTING HAND CHOPPED OFF IF STUCK OUT" is the sign going on the billboard
-
I cant seem to view it on my PC! I am not sure which document to download either? Also the actual graphic on the billboard should be good too, I think it will have a good design and hopefully my slogan P.S those who entered the slogan competition, the results are meant to be coming out tomorrow(who won etc.)

I don't like the fact that you have to queue in that stupid garden area- it's not a proper queue line and they should let you queue inside the pyramid instead! Also X is being turned forwards so will no longer remain worlds first backwards in the dark rollercoaster!Does anyone know why it is 'x:/' is it meant to be a nervous face or something?
-
Why do you want to go to thorpe park in closed season?
-
The ride looked pretty unsafe anyway! Just wondering, did anyone fall out or was there no one in that row?
-
Lucky, these days chessie is only open till 7pm on halloween! They are even having 'halloween' dates open till 5pm in the off peak season! I presume you got to ride samurai at chessie- before it was run poorly at thorpe! I was watching a video of samurai at night and realised how much nicer it looked with lights on the back of seats as well as underneath!

Isn't it meant to be a medium investment this year? Surely turning a couple of rows and a couple of trains around isn't equivalent to a medium investment! SURELY NOT? Thorpe better have a trick up their sleeve, the best I am hoping for is new attractions/shows in the saw alive building and pirates 4d(time voyagers) P.s I would rather a better maze came for fright nights. Also I think the parks lower attendance would be good because there would be shorter queues however the ticket prices would go up more because thorpe would need to make some more money...
-
Sometimes there are some actors roaming around the island and the saw queue, however this now seems to only be on fright night but there used to be quite a few actors in the queue and island area. I can still remember that guy in the queue line who was hanging on those chains trying to escape. However, I have only ever seen him once and unless I visit on a fright night, I am unlikely to see him again!
-
Shame really, I think thorpe will need to out something in its place though! I just can't see people sitting down by saw the ride in a picnic area being roamed around by dressed up actors! I really hope we get a good flat there- although it has been said that the boat transport to the hotel will be there, however I would like something temporary in the meantime, probably some sort of show.
-
They are letting you buy tickets at a discount without knowing what the times are! Say you are buying a ticket for scarefest- you may accidentally buy the wrong date because they are so vague. My guess is the smiler will some how affect opening times, also X sector is likely to be closed off for the first month or two until testing(is my guess) so there will be less attractions for everyone to ride! My guess is, they will not post opening times until late notice, also I think the smiler being delayed will have a big impact on everything because alton towers are giving you free tickets to return if you have booked tickets for a date(which doesn't actually have an opening time) and it is closed! My guess is alton are trying to do the smiler as quick as possible but it is snowing again so I think it will delay construction again...
-
I know this has been mentioned before but on the website of alton towers the whole 'may' part of opening in 2013 has gone... I have a feeling it will be opening even later than that....
-
I guess they could always put a resturant or a picnic area there. Also, I don't want saw alive removed as I have never been in, I would love it open all year round again but that is unlikely to happen!

Nemesis inferno sub-terra?

Good because I am visiting in October and I think I might need a fastrack I hope they put it in the one for £21, I think it is the silver package, it looks quite good value for money, cheaper than at thorpe park anyway but the ultimate fastrack is more expensive!
-
No I don't think it was, the photo showed how nice it was without the lake in filled but the fact that there is a new space for attraction means that we can have many new possibilities. I think that filling the lake in was a good idea and if saw alive gets removed we will probably have an attraction replacing it SAW-THEMED TOPSPIN!!!!! Anyway, if saw alive does not return for 2013 I think we need to see something else in the area, I don't think they should leave an empty building but maybe place a show or even just a nice resturant there! There are many possibilities but as long as they don't leave an empty building all year round I'm happy But saying that... I really would like saw alive open all year round again, I have never been in it and I want to so it would be nice if they re-opened it! Just wondering, was saw alive ever listed on thorpe's website as a permanent 'extreme thrill' because if it was then I don't think we have any chance of it returning...
-
The fastrack prices have gone up again and the packages have changed- no mention of the smiler in any of the packages but each of them has gone up by at least £2 Check the pages out: http://www.altontowers.com/events/fast-track/#Fastrackpackages Check out the premium ones too as the silver package seems good value for money If the smiler is inserted in one of these I may just buy one
-
To be perfectly honest swarm is slow and boring(in any row except back row) **cough cough** and is my fifth favourite coaster in the park(only beats X and fishie) but with the all new backwards seats, I think it could easily come my favourite. Saw alive is going to be scrapped as far as I'm aware because it was closed for almost the whole of the 2012 season...

The concept art didn't make it look like stand-up trains, however the concept art did show that it would be Floorless! So I think we are seeing a Floorless-eurofighter
