I'm not 100% sure but I remember a post saying that all pizza huts licenses last 150 years. If this is the case, thorpe's one will not be removed for a long time. I do have to say that the chessington pizza pasta is good and affordable(when I went in 2008/2009 have not been in pizza pasta since.) I'm just wondering if chessington ever had a Pizza Hut, because this 150 license thing could not be true if chessington got rid of it before the lease was over...

Wait, is the crash pad right next to the bridge which you walk across to get to the dome? If so, I think it will make everything look terrible! A temporary set of containers just sitting there in the middle of no where! I like looking over the lake to be honest but now.... Just on the subject of the bridge, will it still have the signs like 'saw' 'stealth' etc on them? I really thought they were a nice effect. I can also see a new bridge on the way to the thrills workshop, does this mean there will be a dedicated entrance for hotel owners? If so, I think we could be seeing ERT sometime soon because it would be easy for hotel guests and annual pass holders to get in(it has to benefit me) The rides with ERT could be(based on the thrills workshop area) : Stealth- amity cove Swarm- swarm island Detonator- amity cove Possibly x no way out- near amity cove(lost city) -if it doesn't have a refurb Tidal wave- amity cove Rush/vortex -lost city Not all of these rides would be likely IF thorpe had ERT sometime soon but I am just suggesting them because they are close to both the main entrance and thrills workshop! Would be nice for me to see ERT seeing as I gotta annual pass

Mmmm... Strange it is really, 'the sting of the tail,' it really feels to me like the swarm's back two rows are going to be turned around hence the quote 'the tail.' I don't see how thorpe would manage this though as their front row queue for the swarm isn't really a front row queue and you just get some weird pass saying you can go front row. It would be even more of a nightmare to produce a backwards queue aswell because they would probably have to use the same system! The only thing I could think of happening if the back rows WERE turned around is that you have to buy a extra ticket to ride back row, knowing thorpe this would probably be costly and they would get barely anyone riding the back! I don't particularly want to see swarm backwards, I feel that it would make the trains look weird. However, this or an x refurb/new show in the time voyagers building are the only options I feel we have left for 2013... But it is a medium investment so who knows what would happen? As for the scorpion type ride, thorpe got rid of Calgary stampede a while ago so I doubt they will want to bring it back because it is not thrilling enough for their target audience...

I know it was fixed for fright nights but was that just a temporary fix to keep the crowds diverted from other rides so queues weren't so long and also to please guests saying 'samurai is open!' My worry is that this is a long term thing which they could only temporary fix and hence why they dismantled it only thinking that they could run it for a couple of weeks before it was completely broken! However, I hope this is not e case and all they were doing is adding a new motor etc. to upgrade performance If I see slammer and samurai back next year, I will spend a whole day riding them

I'm getting worried now... I really hope we see samurai returning for 2013 as I have not been on since August and I am feeling desperate to ride... I just really want a good setting so better ask for one! I don't want samurai being removed anytime soon but I have a feeling it will because samurai and slammer are both so unreliable! Thorpe please fix them not remove them

Could be a maze about the swarm with cool effects etc. it could also have veagence in the actual maze just like the London dungeon did...

It should be a medium investment this year, however I would prefer something better than veagence because the guns do not even work! According to the MDTP it should be a medium investment this year: Major investment 2009(saw) Medium investment 2010(saw alive) Small investment 2011(storm surge) Major investment 2012(swarm) So it should be a medium investment 2013... Although saw alive doesnt really seem that major, it is a medium investment because it cost a lot to pay for actors etc. I'm not sure this is right but I remember someone saying this was the way the MDTP worked since merlin took over...

Yea, I got it on the 5th of January but for some reason it expires on the 12th January 2014... Also if your renew just before it expires, will the capsule still be valid?

Wooh, new things If you check out thorpe's facebook page you can see some of the park in closed season, all the horses etc. have been taken off the carousel all the water and rocks out of rumba rapids. There is more aswell! Check it out guys... I can't wait to see what's new, I guess we will just have to wait a while because I doubt thopre will give easy clues to telling us what the new things are.... I am making a new topic on the possible flat rides up until 2018 anyway because thorpe are installing up to 9 new flats! Seeing as we are getting new 'things' this means that X cannot be the new thing they are installing, yes the refurb could happen but it is not the new ride/attraction/restaurant we are getting because they are INSTALLING it!

Well for some not for others, I just got a pass January and am planning to buy a capsule. I will pay £16 for a years worth of drinks when I buy on the 26th January and if I wish to buy another one I will pay another £16 for another year! Lets say your pass expires in June and we both buy capsules in January: You pay £16 for 5/6 months and then £16 for a year= £32 for 1 and a half years. I pay £16 for one year and £16 for another year= £32 for 2 years Although your capsules expires later than my first, it is your second and you are paying the same amount as me for less time with a capsule. However, if you wait till June to buy one you are not being ripped off!

Yes, that is why the system I think is stupid this year! You pay £16 to use it up till July lets say but then if you want another one, until January you must pay another £16!

This is the new system, to stop anyone using a pass which hasn't bought a drink capsule, you have to have a pass with the white hole punched! I will be getting a capsule on the 26th so I will tell you all...

Thanks mate, however I am leaving my options open it could have been taken down today but that is very unlikely. I guess I probably just didn't see it in the dark although I am sure I have seen it in the dark before! Maybe that's just my imagination...As for the colour, do you know if it has been painted, once again, could have been repainted today some colours which could not be seen in the dark. If the refurb is true however, I would like some bright- glowing colours because apparently it is going to be a 'clubbing ride'

Guys I think we are seeing an X refurb! I drove past thorpe this evening and although it was dark I could not see the usual X pyramid from the motorway. Just double checking, can you usually see the pyramid from the motorway? I sware it used to be infront of nemesis inferno when you were looking from the motorway but I could not see it! It seems to be that they have taken the pyramid down for the refurb! In this case, they are either replacing X or are building a new building to house it! I am not 100% sure that it was gone as it was dark! Hope this helps, James

Haha lol I would not like to see an evolution ever! I have watched a video of the one at Camelot and it looks utterly painful and slow, no way thorpe do not go there!

Umm samurai^^^^^^^ Also I doubt thorpe would buy it anyway after a 12 year old boy falling out of it, well he didn't actually fall out he climbed out but it caused him serious injuries!
