  1. Probably clowns, as it looks like the ring leader is the main character (like the director in previous years).
  2. What started off as a foggy day, has turned out to be a nice sunny day; although I am still shocked how busy it is, probably the busiest I've seen the park, and I've been for fireworks and summer holidays previously (although I would call 30 minute queues busy for Drayton). Notice the height restriction has changed on G-Force apparently to 1.35m. And advertised in the Zoo, new for 2016: Tamarin Trail.
  3. I tweeted them... They replied saying it would be open. Checked the website again, and now it is closed the Monday - Friday (6th) but open 10-5 the weekend with season still finishing on the 8th. EDIT: the site has now edited again, to being open the week between fright nights finishing and closing weekend 10-4pm.
  4. Was planning to go on the 8th.... Hmmm!!
  5. The ride only allows max 3 adults doesn't it since last year? So it's hard to work out the throughput as some will be kids and others will be most likely just 2 adults per car which is crazy!
  6. I wouldn't call it spiting other people from going... I'd say saving normal guests from an overfilled park aha!
  7. I'm annoyed to hear they've restricted the moving of the bus ride... As when I went in July, it didn't move whatsoever, which ruined it and the 3d in places was blurry
  8. OldFarmerDean replied to Artie's topic in The Past
I would say the reliability is probably better than samurai aha
  9. When the mist is working with the lights, there's no need for it to be themed to be honest.
  10. A theme park experience shouldn't be hit or miss though, that's the thing Either sort out the mist, or just remove it and theme the inside of the tunnel to an extent...
  11. I'm now worried to visit this Sunday...
  12. I don't think it will be somehow CoS was my favourite maze when I done it for the first and only time back in 2013... so clever, with a bit of humour too and some good scares!
  13. If ben 10 is anything to go by... it'll be a great ride!
  14. Legoland have decided to do the same with their fireworks event... But charging annual pass holders £5 for guaranteed entry!? And the same with Thorpe, if there's the option to queue up and get in without paying before it reaches capacity then fair enough I guess. But a £1 charge full stop is not on. Yes I'll just pay it, but that's not the point, they're abusing passholders once again..
  15. I rode it about half 4 and it wasn't working... I love how inconsistent it is
  16. Ah okay I was under the impression it was Merlin... £36million seems a lot!!
  17. What's the new observation tower in Brighton going to be called...? A standard name (like the London eye), or a more fancy name like the trademark said above.. Hmm. Looking at the construction today, I am so confused at the supports of the building, and still a little concerned of the size (lack of) of it, especially the height. But keeping my hopes up for a simworx robo coaster maybe... Or what about VR ride ( Merlin would love that not having to theme the inside of the building )
  18. Mist was on for the first few hours. Broke/off again in the afternoon. I do hate it so much without the mist for some reason..
  19. OldFarmerDean replied to Dan9's topic in Alton Towers
are seatbelts even a failsafe though?.. I've seen a fairgroud ride with seatbelts saying they do not attribute towards the safety they're just there for riders peace of mind. And heard on Nemesis Inferno that they're there at a designed length to ensure that if the seatbelt doesn't do up, the restraint isn't far down enough and the ride shouldn't be sent. But it's still stupid to undo the seatbelt regardless, if alton towers enforce it as an extra safety measure.
  20. Oh, that's the crealy in Cornwall.. Never been there :/ But anyways it does say no big rides are expected, so hardly big news for people like us anyway
  21. I haven't seen it in person myself, but I've had pictures sent to me of it... And it can't be of a previous year, so the black, bloodied shipping containers of MBV are next to the crust, I just hate sounding big headed like some other people on this forum, so used the word apparently... :/
  22. I noticed they opened for feb half term... We wouldn't be seeing a feb half term opening will we?
  23. Where has the information been released yet? As its hardly morning in America and I'm signed up to emails to find out..: bring on six flags magic mountain and discovery kingdom next year!
  24. Apparently the MBV shipping containers have started to go where the island beats stage is/was by the crust... And the area cleared next to depth charge now has shipping containers, which are presumably for the breakout thing; as the big top is going on Amity Beach.
  25. To be fair I've never had bad actors, they've all usually been a really good laugh, which is what I enjoy about the maze... I've done it 8 times... It started off amazing on the preview night and then by the weekend I was pretty disappointed in comparison, and a couple of weeks after it was even worse, not the actors, but the maze itself with celebrity cyclone not working properly, no net etc. and then from there it has progressively got better again, and I do enjoy it, and is worth doing, providing the queue isn't very big!
