    on the merlin annual pass website, it states the bus will be motionless until 25th january.

    I found row 4 on the outside to be the worse out of all the rides I done... and I tried the back two rows and the front inside and out... so a bit odd, hmmm...

    shame it's nowhere near any of the tourist summer resorts... I go every year, love the weather, beaches, waterparks, and other excursions... it;s just missing one thing, theme parks!

    I just don't see why they would be made already with loggers not returning til 2017 - that's if it even returns and I highly doubt it will get the duck treatment aha! I can imagine those ducks fitting perfectly in the finale room!

    Do towers even do a Passholder day? The reason why the parks so quiet is it's probably only passholders that have been going the last year

    That's why I don't think they will advertise it, and open it if possible. Admittedly it would be a pretty disappointing lineup if it was just oblivion as the big ride..

    well with air most likely closed February half term, it would seem logical to open X sector instead of forbidden valley. Feb half term event got removed from towers website which showed the old imagery with nemesis, air, rmt and sonic spinball... The website now doesn't have a specific Feb half term section still, but shows on the event page with the imagery showing oblivion, sonic and rmt. So depends how much I'm reading into it, but with smiler confirmed to be reopening in 2016 I see no reason why it wouldn't be open in Feb half term if oblivion/X sector is instead of forbidden valley. All speculation of course... But I'd keep an eye out... And even if it's not announced in the ride lineup but oblivion and no other main coasters have been announce then I personally expect it to be a surprise opening; get any bad press out the way with before starting main season.

    I'd say zufari, scorpion express and most of the zoo is now acceptable to Chessington standards... It's bubbleworks (I guess vampire is okay at the moment), tomb blaster, dragon falls and the kids rides like toadies that need serious attention sooner rather than later! I do certainly hope bubbleworks isn't the only improvement (that's even if it's getting an improvement? We're just presuming since the drops being replaced).

    I wonder if it will still be called the smiler? How many trains will it have? Can it still duel? How long is it going to have to take to reset after a breakdown with all these extra safety measures in place..

    Have they blocked you... Thorpe park did to some people regarding Derren brown / wc16 stuff... The social media accounts are so bad with inconsistent replies and blocking people etc.

    I guess the 2016 attraction being scrapped isn't so bad after all if the park is getting even more attention... I know they've done a lot over the past few years... but things like bubbleworks, and well dragon falls and tomb but not sure of the future of the last 2, are in desperate need of attention as, as far as merlin attractions go, they're so laughable how bad they have gotten (such a shame I never got to experience the original bubbleworks, instead my first visit in 2009 had to make do - at least the finale was working properly then!)

    Maybe those ducks seen on Scruffy Dog's social media are for bubbleworks and it's getting some attention this closed season. '**(Hocus Pocus Hall, AMAZU Treetop Adventure, Carousel and Seastorm) Rides subject to availability' That is the ride lineup for the Winters Tail? If I'm correct hasn't bubbleworks been open as a ride in the theme park closed season in past years? so reading into that would hopefully suggest it is closed for a lengthy period of time enough to sort the ride out to how it should look.

    Went on the Friday of fireworks and it looked like Hex was closed all day with most of the staff just stood outside the entrance... A real shame if they do SBNO or scrap it as it is probably the best dark ride in the UK and such a great storyline that fits so well!

    To be fair a lot of people judged jamie for wanting last train on stealth for the year.. I was well happy when I got first public train of the year on inferno, and first ride on vortex.. it's a nice thing to know. but in the case of benin it is all about that cred life
