I love Hex, but I think that has the advantage of high ceilings and a real building to match the story. It'll be interesting to see how they use the lack of height in comparison to other rides with more space!
-
^ This. And if I remember correctly, the plans said the preshow was in the tall part of the building? Might be wrong though.
-
The elevation is different but shaping is the same. I think the ride looks average compared to other RMCs, however you may not share the same opinion.
-
Perhaps the arches will be themed to look like a vaulted ceiling of sorts? It's a long shot though.
-
The shaping is identical. -

Ride Elements:
- Zero to 45 MPH Launch = 1500 HP
- Trick Hill (Twin Summits)
- 90 + Degree Bank Breaking Wave Turn
- 90 + Degree Outside Banked Top Hat
- Twist and Shout
- Step Up
- Quadruple Down
- High Speed Airtime Hill
- Non-Inverting Half Loop
- 12 Total Airtime Moments
It's not the same.
You posted a photo of a wave turn. Outlaw Run does two. My opinion stands.
-
Didn't the plans say the boarding area is on the first floor? And as far as I know, Immersive Tunnels don't change elevations, or do they?
-
I'd say it's a solid coaster but to me, it's average compared to the other RMCs.
-
^ Outlaw Run does those elements, nothing new or unique.
-
First RMC without inversions I believe?
Apart from the launch/drop and the quadruple down (which look amazing), this looks pretty average to me.
-
^ Nah he was probably counting the loose bolts coming out the track.

Double post but here's some photos from Coasterfriends.de showing off the detail on the footers and a new building in Klugheim <3
-
I have faith in the park to make it amazing to the finest detail. Even the new lamps have the logo on them...
I'll find the photo one minute!
[Edit] This one

If that's the short part of the building, this thing will be massive! I hope it's something actually great and not a gimmick with an old IP slapped onto it!
-
Station building going up faster, and some sexy stone walls going up.

The rest of the park is fantastic, so I have very high expectations in terms of theming for this coaster and Klugheim in general! Does anyone know what time of year this all might open?
-
That last photo on this page, is that the tallest part of the building or the red coloured part?
-
My point earlier was that DLP built a stupid amount before the park even opened.
I know the DLP story well. My point is that with that many empty rooms most of the season, it can't do profits any good as they still have to employ staff etc.
-
^ I agree, but what we're saying is that they seem to have more than enough accommodation already and we don't want another DLP situation!
-
-
Exciting stuff!
-
^ Very true. Hopefully it'll provide something new and unique but I can't see it being anything too special at the moment!
-
I guess the ride system will be the hard part to get inside if the shell of the building is up already! Unless the system is small I guess.
-
I'm sure some chav will send a photo to the Sun later tonight don't worry!
Does anyone know the reason for the break down? (If there was one)

Is Hex anti-climactic? I agree the build up leads to something more intense but I would say the finale is still great if you don't know what to expect!
