  1. As for the Twitter account question, I have to disagree with Ryan. Although the people behind it are not park staff or management, they will more often than not have correct information. I really don't think you should ignore everything they say. They have to reason to lie about Tidal Wave.
  2. Didn't they get a little Disko instead? A smaller investment I know but still something.
  3. This year will be my 6th year, seen roaming actors about twice (and I stay opening to close every year). It's not scary really, at least the park atmosphere isn't. The scare attractions range from quite jumpy/intense to dull! Fright Nights used to be better and actually had atmosphere however recently, to me at least, it feels lifeless and rushed :L Worth a visit though, I'm only going for the Big Top
  4. Merlin using a relevant IP? nah.
  5. Doesn't know beautiful, luscious hair when he sees it.
  6. Oh I know, but both have a medieval theme, so I was comparing that.
  7. Translated, it says there are four rides for children so I assume there's no dark ride
  8. Yep that dull looking boat ride next to the mine train has gone! I remember looking at it in July and thinking it wasn't worth the ride, wish I did now just to say I'd done it... Can't imagine the theming will live up to Taron's. Sorry Heide.
  9. Looks like a How to Train Your Dragon area for 2016 then! Can't quite figure out what it is. https://www.heide-park.de/drachenzaehmen-die-insel.html
  10. I guess a dark ride is a real possibility for the theme park side of Phantasialand in the near future! Now they have Taron, they'll obviously wait a little while for another high thrill ride (like they always have done except for Black Mamba and Talocan a year apart) so a dark ride in the TotNH site would be fab. I still feel like another thrilling flat ride is needed though. They have Mystery Castle, Talocan, Wellenflug and I think that's it? (Minus the carousel)
  11. Agree with all your post, Benin. Not sure if a trackless system is a bit too pricey for the park? I know they're loaded and all, but aren't trackless systems like Ratatouille and Mystic Manor horrendously expensive?
  12. If you'd read my post and Josh's above, you'd know I'm talking about Face it Alone (which you're not old enough to have experienced ) not the normal attraction.
  13. Agreed. I can't wait to see what they do with this proposed hotel/waterpark too opposite the road! The thought of Phantasialand doing a waterpark gets me way too excited!
  14. Correct It's very smooth, however it's super drawn out and nothing actually interesting happens! Mr Creek get your bum down to Phantasialand you'd love it!
  15. True, however does Maverick with it's hidden launch devalue Top Thrill Dragster? Same goes for Kanonen and Helix (to a lesser extent). I agree marketing it would be harder but I think it could be done with some thought!
  16. Well if it was you wouldn't get anything dodgy on your computer, it's a well known program. If you need any more help, maybe private message me or somebody else in the know (toofpikk for example) so this thread doesn't continue to be just a question and answer thread! Not that questions are bad at all, but this is something you could discuss personally
  17. Like Josh said you're better off not knowing. Plus the disclaimer you sign beforehand says you shouldn't tell anyone! I found it all a bit awkward and improvised if I'm honest. They just threw me about and made me do awkward stuff. I much prefer the normal scare attraction formula.
  18. I don't use windows so I can't remember exactly what I used to use. Download the trial of WinRAR or WinZip, those are safe.
  19. Shame permanent doesn't mean good! Saw Alive has some nice visuals but the music and acting have always let it down for me...
  20. I know it's me being picky but if you could ever get a video update, rather than photos in a slideshow, that would be great! As for the Big Top, looks like it could be good so far! It's the only reason I'm doing Fright Nights this year as last year was dire, so I hope it's fun! If there isn't smoke everywhere and carnival music playing I will be disappointed!
  21. I thought you had CS on your old computer? Just extract the far/zip file then continue as normal!
  22. I was also told that Saw was the most intense last year, however I heard some of the things they do in there and we thought we'd play it safe with Cabin in the Woods! The experience was more awkward than scary tbh, the worst part was waiting to go in!
  23. Yep £15. Includes a vinegary-champagne reception in a cold BBQ tent! And a poncho (although I won't say why ) I might pass on the Face it Alone this year though. I need the earliest bed time I can get nowadays, and £15 seemed like a lot of money for the experience we received.
  24. I remember in MBV I was quite thankful that my hands were on my friend's shoulders, as otherwise I would have freaked out inside the inflatable walls part! Felt like I was being dragged into my grandma's back rolls it wasn't cute.
  25. Likes Dinosaurs haha. Looks slightly like somebody I know, too.
