I agree and understand many of the points raised. It does seem odd in itself as to why Matt has been so quiet... If I recall correctly he's only really posted to lynch people, I don't remember any introduction of sorts But I do really see pluk and Alex's points so ##vote Tommy

Oh, uh, apologies for not popping round here yet, Buttercup was having another one of her strops, bless her feisty little heart. Allow me to introduce myself, I'm Professor Utonium. One may say that my best project was the creation of the Powerpuff Girls which I am indeed proud of. Alas, I am nothing without my lab equipment which I've hidden well away in fear of them being used against both myself and my fellow townies as a weapon by the mafia. This apparently deems me worthy enough to be assigned a somewhat tasty flavour. The sooner this mafia goes the sooner I can get back to my inventing!

Blue receipt? I didn't get a receipt I think, the lady just took my slip and handed me my pass.

I didn't want to start a new topic so I shall just post it in here. I got my annual pass in June, and even when I first got it, my picture, date of birth and expiry date al seemed quite pale/faded/not properly printed, and now, six month down the line, it is hardly visible. When using the pass in October, staff remarked how hard to see it was etc. and now I really don't think it is suitable to use, but will I have to pay to get a new one? tl;dr- my annual pass needs to be replaced due to what seems to be the result of a dodgy printer but will it cost me money to get it replaced and if so, how much?

I'm shocked to have actually gotten something! Some of the winners did cause me to choke on my breath, good job, well done to those who got something somewhere and thank you for those who think myself as valid enough for said award.

Couldn't reduced capacity merely be referring to the reduced line-up? I mean, I doubt they'd want to operate rides which haven't had all of their checks (but I'm a foolish child with the engineering knowledge of one, so I'm probably wrong).

I got a Standard Annual Pass as I was thinking 'I don't drive and I don't mind paying a fiver for Fright Nights' but haha oh no. Thank you Thorpe. I'm only going to visit once during next season if at all and stick to Chessington the rest of the time it seems. I do love Thorpe but it has been a case of one step forward and ten back really.

I liked this last time and said I'd want to do it again so I'm certainly up for it. I think that if you sign up you have to be active or suffer the scary consequences (I'll leave you to come up with that, I'm not that smart). Also, TEAMWORK.

I went to Thorpe 'just for the rides' but then I realised that because I say I'm not too happy with Thorpe at the moment, it makes me a hypocrite, so I haven't been since and hardly plan on going next year unless I get over my cynical, pessimistic scepticism. It's really not hard; and think of the money you could save to go to different and better theme parks which are further away.
