  1. Didn't even get my name in the credits, my heart is heavy.
  2. Adventure Island. I was proper keen for it when I was younger, but let's not go into that.
  3. Not really if you think about it, as the boat is shaped like a circle rather than a quadrilateral. So if three adults sat in a triangle formation or something similar, the weight should be evenly distributed.

    Confessions

My sleeping pattern has literally cartwheeled out of the window and I'm not okay with that.
  5. For those who are linking it to Doctor Who/Madame Vastra but couldn't make the link to the eye: I remember watching Capaldi's first episode and the villains were these things who would steal organs/body parts from humans in order to allow them to blend in, and the main antagonist if you will had the area around one of his eyes exposed somewhat. This probably has zero significance but it's what I thought of when reading through the last few pages.
  6. I can't amend it, but I'd like to have voted for the 24th/any Saturday!
  7. I think I'd remove the capital in my name to make me look a little bit more edgy or something like that, also it'd match everything else I use a username of sorts for. I'm the creative one in my family
  8. Haha no, not Matt's (half) death cred! Your favourite ride that deemed you as a wuss
  9. We're nowhere near home yet and I swore that I'd not make such lame posts anymore but I can honestly say that I really enjoyed this weekend, it was pretty much what I needed! It was nice to meet a few new people and to just visit Wales and oakwood. Surviving the death slide is my greatest achievement to date. Having not been to a meet since April I'd almost forgotten how much I enjoy them and I really hope that I can make it for October now (I may be a little bit keen)
  10. Would they really make it that obvious if it is supposed to be such a secret thing though? Unless it's some form of reverse psychology but I'm not so sure. I'm reserving any judgement on this until it's open and I've been on it anyway, speculation isn't something I can say I really enjoy.
  11. You're basically Rico from Hannah Montana
  12. What did I just bear witness to? On another note a friend of mine got a job at the nando's literally neighbouring my work just before I got my job. Perhaps I may inevitably try it one day as a result, but it won't be a cheeky one.
  13. 7/10- simply can't handle the suspense, you're an insane what exactly???

    Jobs..

Yes, atleast it'll save me the hassle of having to explain combos!

    Jobs..

So I've been working at a cinema in my town for just over a month now, and despite me being really anxious at first as it is very much a customer service role and no matter what area you're on you'll be dealing with customers to some extent, I'm actually enjoying it! I had a catch up of sorts with one of my supervisors who is in charge of recruitment and the like the other day and she has said that she's pleased with me and I just need to stop holding myself back, which really reassured me! It's only a summer job however you may get kept on if you're deemed good enough, so I can only hope as I'm genuinely happy here, everyone is made to feel welcome and your supervisors and colleague always seem to have your back.
  16. I have issues with my back and am often complaining about it (as a few members know and tell me ) but I generally make sure that I take painkillers before I leave my house so that they're in full swing if you will by the time I'm at the park then I just take them at appropriate intervals throughout the day. I sit down a lot in queuelines too whenever I can, but if your friend thinks that she shouldn't do something then she should go with her instinct and not do it as it really can ruin your entire day!
  17. They stated that the second train is facing 'technical difficulties'.
  18. Courtesy of Thorpe's Twitter. Not my query (obviously, I am not called Stephanie).
  19. Not being able to wear glasses on rides is a slight myth! I always wear mine, not matter what. Then again I really struggle to see (like you said your mum has, can hardly make out shapes and colours) and would soon get a migraine if I took them off, but it is unlikely that they'd come flying off your face. I often get mine tightened before going to a theme park just in case. #paigetips (sorry for use of hashtag) Source: I've worn glasses for almost 15 years
  20. ... I reiterate my point, several times
  21. I like how it just seemed like that 'controversy' was click bait to draw people in to bear witness to yet more scare mongering on behalf of the Daily Mail. Whilst I haven't voted in the poll, purely because I have always been a bit iffy with seeing those slogans, yet I hadn't even realised that they were gender specific and wouldn't march around screaming about how disgusting this is yada yada yada, but I have always seen them and frowned internally if you will. I may sound incredibly conservative and whatnot, but I don't think that it's something that will influence young people, and I think that essentially suggesting that should a female wear said top it would make them a more susceptible target (because that's how it works, right?) is incredibly ludicrous. Of course, it may cause comments to be made, which can be horrible and make an individual feel incredibly vulnerable, but as a young female myself, I've never been interested in their t-shirts as much, and if I ever have purchased a t-shirt from a Merlin park or any other place, I like it to show that I've been to said place, otherwise it's a waste of money I feel. So even though I have always found it a bit of a bold move, I do not strictly condemn the parks for selling them, nor do I think that they should be torn off the shelves. (Sorry if that was quite jumbled, I have never been the best at putting a point across concisely)
