You can say That again. Was one of the Reasons we left legoland early! (5.30 pm) I do think the price was a little high without miniland or the dragon etc. we ran out of things to do by 3.00pm not what you expect from a £22 entry fee on top of the annual pass . however you did get quite an expensive christmas gift and a hot drink so I suppose they could just about justify the price. But next year I hope they open dragon atlantis miniland and imagination theatre as I think then I would be more then happy to stay the whole day and pay a price of £15-20 It was still cheaper then winter wonderland though £22 for over 25 rides there compared to £39 for six rides at winter wonderland!

Went to Legoland yesterday for the Christmas event and have to say I was quite impressed! Ride count Laser raiders- 12 Aero Nomad -3 Desert Chase-2 Thunder blazer-1 Dragons Apprentice-3 Longboat invader-1 spinning spider-1 jolly rocker-1 Lokis labyrinth-2 bricksmas express-1 Star wars miniland- 1 Knights quest-1 Positives- The park looks fantastic for christmas Limited people meant I was the only person on the jolly rocker on my second ride and with little to no q's for any rides. Longest Q was a 20 minute Que to get down on the the hill train/Bricksmas Express Staff were friendly especially the ones in laser raiders Park looked amazing at night christmas decorations were fantastic Negatives- Shame the Dragon was not open but that wasn't the end of the world! It was a good day!

Chessington General Discussion
CWOAfanMalcolm replied to Ash's topic in Chessington World of Adventures
10-7pm opening's are fantastic to see for the summer when they are definitely needed. To be perfectly honest most weekends in any time apart from school holidays are reasonably quiet anyway so not really any need to extend opening hours I think I would prefer Early ride Time on the weekend myself, 6pm closing would be nice I agree.but I don't think it's a necessity. -
Wish they could include crazy cars in this re-theme. At the moment it's just sitting between market square, Land of the dragon's and Africa not fitting in any of the areas In my opinion. flying jumbos were re-themed to fit in to ZUFARI so why not Crazy Cars?

Ok this sounds fun I'll volunteer as well.

Tidal wave cause there are two slides to choose from and the boats are a nicer colour on the blue tidal wave. Adventure island or great Yarmouth pleasure beach?

End of season Trip 9th November An amazing day thorpe's operations the best they have been all year and ride reliability very good as well. Ride count Stealth-5 inferno-4 (once front row) (Twice in the dark) Colossus 3 (front row in the dark last train of the season ) Saw the ride-4 (Prehaps the smoothest ride I have ever had on it this morning) 3 front row (once in the dark) The swarm-1 Rush-2 slammer-2 (once in the dark) detonator-2 (once in the dark) Zodiac-1 Vortex-1 (running on a nice long cycle) X-1 Tidal wave-1 Loggers leap-1 Rumba rapids-1 Rocky express-1 Carousel-3 (once in the dark) Positives- Fantastic operations Carousel music Thorpe park was actually open for a weekend in November after fright nights for the first time since 2011 and an hour of dark ride time. Negatives- I had my last ride ever on the carousel at 5.45pm sniff Last day of the season No more thorpe for 4 months Thank you thorpe park for a wonderful year!

The thing is some people don't think like that the amount of times I have been at Chessington when it has been freezing and once even snowing and people on rameses were still shouting water water. Do agree though would rather have a coaster.
-
It did on Passholder Day this year in march
-
When they get it open again They could just open it at 2pm everyday. in the first hour of the park opening few people ride it anyway another alternative could be to only open it on weekends and holidays which could prolong the life of it.
-
Am very excited at this but just hope Thorpe don't go for a horror or disaster themed ride.

Like's to spin teacups way too fast That was meant for coasterdude -
Just returned from two consecutive days at chessington and I am exhausted worth it though Let's start with the Friday Arrived at 12.00 Vampire -2 Rattlesnake-3 Dragon's Fury-2 Scorpion express-2 (on the second go got 4 laps) Dragon Falls-2 Peeking heights-2 Monkey swinger-2 Kobra-1 Carousel-1 Toadie's crazy cars-1 Tomb blaster-1 Rameses Revenge-2 Seastorm-1 Black buccaneer-1 the mystery of hocus hall-1 bubbleworks-1 Also watched Pumpkin high school of rock Pros scorpion express Fire was back and working well and was extremely effective at night. Vampire in the dark was fantastic as always. Q's were fairly fast moving in particular vampire was being faster then normal. The MOHPH Q moved much faster then last year we were on in 10 mins despite the ride host telling us it would be a 40 minute wait from that point. RAMESES REVENGE AT NIGHT was beautiful with the lasers audio and smoke 8pm closure meant much more time to fit in night rides got on 10 as apposed to 5 last year. TMOHPH had a new scene which added so much to it. Vampire didn't feel nearly as rough as it has done all year Negatives The mystery of hocus pocus hall felt a little tamer then last year and slightly rushed and increased size of our group meant that we couldn't see the jungle scene too well. Pumpkin high school of rock is not good. This was such a good day and one of the best I have had at Chessington for a while. Saturday Met up with some people form Thorpe park mania and can I say thank you to all of you who went to Chessington yesterday for making me feel so included during the day. I had a wonderful day Ride count Vampire-2 Dragons fury-2 Rattlesnake-1 Scorpion express-1 The mystery of hocus hall-1 the scariest run through I have had through it ever which included me screaming like a girl in the ending scene due to an unexpected surprise appearance tomb blaster-1 rameses revenge-4 Carousel-1 (the most intense ride of the day due to me and coasterdude spinning the teacup for almost the entire duration of the ride) Griffins galleon-1 black buccanner-2 Bubbleworks Monkey swinger-2 Dragon falls-1 What a great Two days A big well done to chessignton this year Howl-o-ween is fantastic well done chessington you have proved to me once more why your my favorite theme park

Went Yesterday Had a great Night arrived at 3.15pm left at 10.05pm Ride count Stealth-5 (1 front row) Nemesis inferno-4 Colossus-3 Saw-1 The Swarm forwards- 4 (1 Front row) Backwards-1 rush-2 Vortex-1 zodiac-1 quantum-1 slammer-1 detonator-5 rumba rapids-1 depth charge-3 33 rides in total Think that works out at about 5 rides an hour. Positives- The coasters had two trains most of the evening. The new fish and chip restaurant is brilliant. Nemesis mist and stealth smoke was working to great effect and there was smoke near tidal wave which created a scary atmosphere while walking in that part of the park No lights on in the rumba rapids tunnel actually made the ride more scary Saw Shawn Sanbrooke and got a photo with him. Negatives- A train was taken off at about 8.30pm on Colossus and swarm which was justifiable on Colossus but on swarm was unacceptable as the Que was quite clearly long enough to justify two trains. Logger's leap and samurai were shut. So that's it Looks like fright nights is going to be the best event they have put on for a while. and I would recommend just for the coaster's in the dark. The roaming actors were a lot scarier than they have been before one was extremely creepy with a teddy bear and one had a chainsaw. they were lurking on the bridge when we arrived. and proceeded to chase guest's around for the rest of the night. Was happy with the amount of rides I got on you have done well thorpe park.

I went to flamingo land in august it was a dreadful day everything on one train operation and an hour long que for all coasters aided by the q busters who just jumped in all the time. Cliffhanger was shut. Q'd 1 hour 20 mins for lost river ride which had no effects working. I got on 8 rides in our stay from 10.30-6.30 and was in a Q for nearly all of that time running from ride to ride. smokers were everywhere including in the Q line. Hero broke down with us on it. The gift shop was rubbish with no decent merch. only positive was kumali which was handiling Q's fairly postively and lunch which was tasty. I was not happy with that day. Hero and lost river ride were terrible rides anyway so not worth the wait. I would advise everyone not to go to flamingoland!!!!

Rush was shut in the afternoon as was rumba rapids don,t know about vortex as I was not in that part of the park at all today. I also had lunch and took a few photos of studio 13 and walked rather than ran from ride to ride which is why my count is slightly lower than it could have been and had a quick browse in the shop.
