  1. I've been thinking about Florida way too much this week. I'm just way too excited!!! And because of this, time will slow down.
  2. Is Taron a 'thrill' or 'family' coaster? I don't really know to much about it so I don't want to make any judgements.

Personally I doubt it will be an RMC. I have a feeling it may be similar to Busch Gardens Williamsburg with their addition 'InvadR'. They could create a ride like Boulder Dash, with their terrain it could actually work quite well.

Then where did the idea of a wooden coaster originate?
  5. Charlesberg replied to EC!'s topic in UK Attractions
Done that.Still meh. Let's stop talking about the valid reasons no one likes Th13teen and continue talking about this supposed RMC.

It has a meh beginning and a meh track drop.Overall, it's meh. Ride a real roller coaster. Ride a real drop tower.
  7. I find it sad how us enthusiasts can immediately identify the roller coaster despite it being in black and white as well as the video hiding the floorless aspect (Superman: La Atracción de Acero).

From what that guy said in the comments, it's not going to be an RMC. This could have two significant aspects: - Worlds fastest wooden roller coaster (obviously!). - Worlds only actual looping wooden roller coaster (as all the looping wooden coasters are just steel tracks) (I can't say world's first because of Son of Beast).
  9. What I meant by this is that Merlin don't really seem to like Top Spins at the moment, I'm just taking a wild guess that aqua spin will be removed, chances are they probably will remove it eventually. They haven't actually said anything about it yet but I bet they will sometime.
  10. By tracing the drop of Mako, I worked out the angle to be 81 degrees. That's means there's an exciting drop ahead of us TPM members going in the summer.
  11. Well we now know that Aqua Spin is next (Heide Park).
  12. Merlin seem to be having a falling out with Top Spins. First it was Ripsaw. Rameses is next on the list...
  13. When Drayton Manor has no queues then it is actually a really fun day out. It just becomes a case of re-riding Shockwave, G-Force and Apocalyspe over and over. Basically what I'm saying is that as long as I get lots of rides done and the ride are enjoyable then I have an amazing day out. One thing you must know about me, I don't really consider riding a ride 'once' as riding the ride properly. When I go to parks I prefer to aim to ride the larger coasters at least 3 times.
  14. I'm going to miss this years empire game. I think I may have missed out on my only opportunity to go to Chessington this year (I only went once last year and that was this meet).
  15. When I went to Parque de Atracciones de Madrid, the Intamin invert was closed.Tbh it looked quite rough and it is probably nowhere near as good as the B&M inverts.
  16. You don't really seem that excited for Mako. Btw the restraints you get on B&M hypers are the most comfortable restraints ever, you're completely free yet secure and it exaggerates the airtime.
  17. Mako doesn't look trimmed, I think it will be an exciting addition.
  18. Well there are many airtime moments on Mako and 4 over banked curves. I think this may be one of those rides that packs lots into itself.
  19. Found it! Now lets talk about Mako (it was entirely my fault for bringing us off topic)
  20. Charlesberg replied to EC!'s topic in UK Attractions
Oh ok. Well at least the image isn't missing in this topic.
  21. I can't quite rate Silver Star as it was my first coaster to feature a drop, all I remember was screaming and falling whilst holding onto my restraint for dear life (preventing any decent airtime (I wasn't even interested in roller coasters then)). I absolutely loved Shambhala, my favourite coaster that I've ridden (I remember you saying you preferred Baco somewhere). I don't think Mako will be as good as Shambhala, like I said I have no idea with Silver Star for said reason. Why does everyone dislike Silver Star in comparison to other hypercoasters?
  22. I know you must've done it at one point Matt
  23. Have you ever ridden Silver Star or Shambhala?
  24. Charlesberg replied to EC!'s topic in UK Attractions
Then quote said post containing that image.
  25. How will Mako compare to Silver Star and Shambhala? (rhetorical) Will it have better airtime? Will it be more intense? Will we be saying "WOW" or "AGAIN, AGAIN, AGAIN" or "THAT'S IT?"? We shall find out on June 10th. I'll say the English way: 10th June.
