I've never been on either but if I had the choice Shrek's Bus Tour Movies or Books?

All photos from TPM's Facebook. They show a boring queue jumping sign, a nice looking blue queue time board, and the luggage sign. My only question is this: What is that huge area on the bottom left of the luggage photo for? I'm guessing to hold the 60 people going into the building at one time.

The advert looks promising. They seem to be heavily pushing the idea of reality perception! End of May could be any day really from around the 20th. Friday 27th may be a more likely date unless the ride is 100% ready. The advertising campaign is a good move though. Will be keeping an eye out for it on TV in the next few days.

I think it's highly likely we'll be seeing some form of trailer or teaser as well as an opening day on Friday 13th. It would be a good time to do something like this, seeing as there's lots of superstition and an overall scary mood surrounding this date. As for the budget thing in the paper, of course it doesn't matter if the budget it £13m; they can still make a brilliant ride for that money. But they have been advertising that this is Merlin's biggest ever investment, so either that is still true and this information is false, or they've just been hyping it up! I shall not believe anything however unless it is 100% confirmed.

"No closing your eyes or looking away". That rule will be broken (almost) every ride! Also, "Don't touch them, they won't touch you". Unless they are referring to something else in the attraction, the actors will touch you (according to the restriction board they will anyway). It is a nice little picture though; just to keep this thread going that tiny bit longer until they can finally announce an opening date.

It don't see how the nature of something entitles it to a height restriction though?...

The height restriction for Nemesis Sub Terra is 1.4m too however, and that's only a small drop section :/

It's so pretty lit up As for the whole train crash thing, this could be a possibility. Not necessarily as a photo point, but definitley as an intense/scary moment at some point in the experience.

Ahhh, that would make a lot more sense! Hopefully the VR doesn't last too long and we get some very nice physical theming around the ride!

Ooh yay, so it is becoming a permanent attraction. I can barely contain my excitement... In all seriousness though, why is this happening? Another actor led experience, because we all know they always work out in the long run. Containment wasn't that good anyway. The £10 fee (and even the £8 MAP discount) was way too much for what it was and it wasn't scary. It does depend on what people find scary however. Hopefully they can make this work, but if they don't it will just be another useless, horrible looking waste of space *glares at Storm Surge*

So I ended up watching "The Boy" the other week (the 2016 horror with that weird dummy child thing). It was ok; the ending was the most confusing and pointless thing ever though. Also, seeing as a few posts above mentions Disney films, Finding Nemo is an amazing movie

There's no solid fact that the carriage was a ride vechile and your friend probably isn't the most reliable source. Although, for all we know, it could've been a ride vechile and could now be testing. There's no way of knowing really.

Not really that bothered that it's been delayed tbh (of course I'm a little annoyed but these things happen) because I can easily make another trip to Thorpe when the ride is open. I feel sorry for those who have booked hotel rooms for that day though :/ I do hope however that it's open before June, and judging from the website saying just "Opening May", it's a good sign it will.

Ahhhh, probable delays. No surprises here then. The sign being taken down could be for the queue time however. Or signs pointing out main q, fastrack , etc. I will remain hopefully that they open it on time, and if there is delays that they will announce them. But unfortunately the way this is going, I can't be as hopeful as I previously would've been.

Probably won't be much marketing until after the ride opens. Galactica's ads didn't begin until the week after the ride opened!

It's a very generic "Hold on tight, brace yourself" announcement with the announcer sounding bored out of his mind.

They weren't there on preview but were when I went on the 11th. I agree, they are completely ridiculous and ruin the ambience and overall mood of the ride.

Ok , thank you [emoji106]. It just been bugging me since the beginning of this season as to why they did it. No big problems though, the billboard still looks very good!
