  1. I still think the trains looks abnormally small. Though I must admit, the drop looks great - especially without the inline twist.
  2. I'm not a horror event fan at all but from my perspective Thorpe's lineup lacks uniqueness - I feel like a solid hooded maze could work very well at the park. Of course a major rebrand of the event would probably do it no harm too.

I'll second that. Seeing Chris Hughton in the premier league would enfuriate me...

Pleasure! Hope he succeeds. I wonder how you'll cope without Scott Hogan though.
  5. ^ Yeah but the fact that it's a sidequal to Unbreakable is a good enough twist alone, surely? The village is my personal favourite Shyamalan film, closely followed by Signs and Unbreakable. He's one of my favourite directors - apart from the Visit, I like all of his films that I've seen - which says a lot from someone who doesn't like horror!

You're not the only one. Nice goal today Cam Jam - lets get you back into the form you had 2 years ago.
  7. If the kids rides are just plonked down as if temporary attractions I will not be best pleased. Park appearance is vital in customer satisfaction when visiting theme parks. So if these rides could be integrated into the area well - whether that just be foliage or a scenery piece - then it could really bring the appeal up for kids. I'm still waiting for Thorpe Park to add cohesion to their dictionary.
  8. Ooh that's a controversial tone of red - might stop me from visiting this year. I think this represents what an utter load of garbage this TLC programme is though.
  9. Isn't Drew Bronner just a pseudonym/anagram for Derren Brown?
  10. The cow's face is even in the same position as the Gruffalo's!

Arsenal at home that is assuming we beat Southampton away (which we probably won't)
  12. They should've just painted the risers. That would have provided the same visual affect from the bottom just without this wear.
  13. But then there's the small problem of me not properly knowing the months of the year in order. I mean I know there's only 12 but my mind has just chosen not to remember their order. That's the trouble with a selective memory, I can't memorise the months of the year but I can memorise Pi to 27 places without trying to learn it. My mind's f*cked up.

@mrmonkey didn't say they had good foresight though. He said hypothetically what the situation could look like if Merlin did have it. We are all allowed to have a sense of hope - even if it false.
  15. Just bought myself a Europa Park calendar! Now to learn the months of the year in German...
  16. I've never purchased an on ride photo - ever.
  17. Seems nice. Values thrills over theming, complete opposite to me!
  18. Meh! Quite looking forward to this actually. No real surprise I suppose and there is very little substance to this 'huge announcement' but the concept art looks nice so yes, I'm relatively optimistic for a change.
  19. I'm expecting an opening date and name. When this opening date will be, I have no clue, but I do hope it's in the early part of the season.
  20. Darn it! Let's see what the National Union of theme park enthusiasts have to say about this. #strike
  21. This is actually almost exciting. Almost really exciting in fact. Tick Tock...

  23. I'll bet you a fiver that this land will look far from boring. It'll be immersive and highly detailed - this is Universal after all!
