Derren Brown's Ghost Train: Rise of the Demon
In the VR 1 - "there's gas down here and it's infecting people *infected smash through window*" In the VR 2 - "Please evacuate at the next station" In the train - "Headsets off! We need to evacuate quickly!" Leading to the tunnel - "quickly cover your mouth do you don't inhale the gas, you need to get to the evacuation point quickly!" In the live action sequence - "We need to exit down this tunnel along the right side in a single file line to avoid the gas inhalation!" Nope, not clear at all.

Derren Brown's Ghost Train: Rise of the Demon
Exactly my point - it's a prototype attraction which is evidently having teething issues after we knew it has had many issues. It'd be slightly naive to expect the attraction to be fully working right now in my opinion. Before anyone start the whole "well they shouldn't have opened it if it wasn't ready" I will say if they hadn't people would dtill be complaining, and personally I think the attraction is rather impressive even without the extra effects, purely down to how unique and high tech it is.

Derren Brown's Ghost Train: Rise of the Demon
The second ending isn't yet believed to be active in the attraction.

Or, a hugely advanced prototype ride wasn't fully working when you experienced the attraction. This is possible believe it or not!

Derren Brown's Ghost Train: Rise of the Demon
Simworx have now let on a few secrets about the attraction, including "Simworx provided three, 17.6m, 60-seat passenger carriages, all themed as London Underground train carriages along with 110m of train track including two traverser tables. Each carriage seat has its own individual PC system VR headset, while there are also on-board screens and numerous special effects such as smoke, lighting, vibration, leg ticklers and more. The finale of the experience see’s each carriage lifted by a 35 Tonne Payload Motion Platform". Read the full article below. http://www.simworx.co.uk/?portfolio=derren-browns-ghost-train-thorpe-park

Derren Brown's Ghost Train: Rise of the Demon
I don't see how a fracking company releasing gasses and creatures from unground is particularly 'clever' but each to their own... In all seriousness I personally don't see an issue with it. If you actually hold the headphones closer they block out the screaming and you can clearly hear, although I must admit they need a better way of communicating the infortation during the live action portion of the attraction. People need to remember that this ride is going to likely be a constant project for Thorpe - and so the ride will be constantly changing updating if they do stick to this.

Possible Expansion
The plan was to build a bridge to the island behind THE SWARM where the sunken gardens currently are.

"The ride is too confusing" Sounds like it did what it was designed to then, derail your mind...

Disneyland Resort California
For those who are interested, the attraction is set to be called Gaurdians of the Galaxy - Mission: BREAKOUT! and it's story is as follows. "Deep inside his fortress-like collection, the mysterious Taneleer Tivan (aka The Collector) is displaying his newest acquisitions, the Gaurdians of the Galaxy. They are trapped in customised cases, suspended over a vast abyss. Unbeknownst to their unscrupulous captor, the intrepid Rocket has escaped and is enlisting the Collector's VIP guests for help, Guests board a gantry lift, which launches them into a chaotic and hilarious adventure as they join Rocket in an attempt to break his fellow Guardians out of captivity."

Derren Brown's Ghost Train: Rise of the Demon
Yes, I thought I added this but I must've forgot! Haha. That is the main issue, not to mention with people screaming it can be hard to hear.

Fright Nights 2016
It's a sequel, but rebooted for a new age group. Similar to Jurrasic World and Star Wars. I did notice in the trailer they said "we've just went around in a circle". If they could manage to make TBWP into a similar style to Sub-Species where there's no set tour that'd be very interesting - although probably very hard to do in its current location.

Fright Nights 2016
I personally think it looks quite good and would be happy for the maze to be updated...

Fright Nights 2016
Lionsgate have announced the reboot/sequel to The Blair Witch Project "Blair Witch" releasing just in time for Fright Nights. What could this mean for this years Blair Witch Project maze, an overhaul doesn't sound unlikely if you ask me...

Derren Brown's Ghost Train: Rise of the Demon
To be completely honest, the only illusion that truely impressed me was in the main warehouse, other than that I thought the others were really quite simple. Not to say that simplicity is bad as such, but I must admit I was expecting something a tad more exciting based on how much the 'grand illusion' aspect was pushed.

Derren Brown's Ghost Train: Rise of the Demon
If this were the case then it wouldn't make financial sense to change the films in 4D cinemas such as Angry Birds 4D, yet they do this. I can see your point but you forget Merlin can market anything...

Derren Brown's Ghost Train: Rise of the Demon
If this has came from staff I'm not so sure seeing as other are ademant they saw them during staff testing, I'm not sure either way (the above post wasn't too serious) so I'll take any information as a pinch of salt. However, I can see the attraction getting more and more different endings and story lines over time.

Derren Brown's Ghost Train: Rise of the Demon
Who knows, maybe it's what you find in the elusive second ending?

Derren Brown's Ghost Train: Rise of the Demon
Why is it when someone has an unpopular opinion they have to be wrong? I personally prefer the effort put into Ghost Train as opposed the other two attractions that seem to rely on one element and then lack in others, with Ghost Train I don't see this in terms of theming.
-
Derren Brown's Ghost Train: Rise of the Demon
I personally thought it was fantastic in terms of theming, certainly better than the interior of Kong and the entirety of Frozen... In terms of CGI yes, it could be better. But I felt if you ignored the fact the texture of the demons wasn't great (as the rest was rather good) then it wasn't awful at all Personally my favourite part of the ride was watching other people's reactions, especially after you exit the train for the first time!

Derren Brown's Ghost Train: Rise of the Demon
I'm really confused where this confusion of the story has came from. After my 3 rides I can honestly say I could easily understand the story, Sub-Core are drilling into the ground to find a new and cheaper energy source, what they aren't telling you is that the gas they are finding is harmful to humans. Not only this but their digging has released something from underground, the monsters. I personally got all this information just from the first VR section, I don't know if my 3 (different) scenarios may have explained it better, but I personally can't see where the confusion lies...

Derren Brown's Ghost Train: Rise of the Demon
Haha, weeks! In all seriousness I don't see the actors going purely because the attraction relies so heavily on them, IAC has kept them (although let's be honest IAC is gone in a few years). The amount of effort they put in, that's another story...
