  1. I've been to Six Flags Great Adventure 3 times and it took me these 3 times to do all the coasters there. It's a massive Six Flags park and it can be a struggle to do everything in one day! My advice would be get to Kingda Ka at opening and get as many rides as you can on it before it gets busy or breaks down, then do El Toro which is close by! It tends to run better then it's warmed up later in the day though

  3. I would be up for this, Stealth is still my favourite coaster at Thorpe
  4. Finally, I've just booked tickets for Friday's Screamland as the Scenic should be open If I don't go Friday night I wouldn't be able to go back until next year as I'm off to Alton Towers this weekend for Scarefest and California from next Thursday for 2 weeks!
  5. This is why I'm so careful when I visit the park these days! It's so hit and miss! In the past when I've visited on quiet weekdays there has been long lines just due to one train operation. Sometimes the weekends bizarrely have less lines as that is the only time they can be bothered to run two trains. However there has been a few extremely rare times when I've visited the park where it's been unusually dead but everything is still running on two trains, simply because they expected more people to attend that day, these are the best visits to the park I've ever had, easily clock up 50 rides in a day I've visited nearly 200 parks and if other major parks can run their coasters on two trains even on low demand days, why can't Thorpe?
  6. Was great seeing everyone the little time I was there, I went home about midnight as I had to drive home Got more rides done then I could ever do on a normal weekday, loads of stay on opportunities and Stealth baggage gate open, only set back was the awful security staff at the entrance and when someone was sick on Inferno lol
  7. Thanks James, looking forward to meeting everyone!
  8. Found a hidden gem while clearing my loft out. A old Thorpe Park flag from the early 90s
  9. Think ill be giving Flight Nights a miss this year for many reasons: no preview day like 2nd October last year, fastrack only mazes, no more 10pm close, days restricted to half term, Friday to Sundays only when of course its too busy. Other unrelated things like the car park charge and no single rider Stealth put me off even more I did go last year on preview day and it was amazing but I honestly don't think the park will match that this year!
  10. Went to the Fright Nights yesterday (6th) and oh my god never seen the park soo empty in all my years of going to Thorpe Park!Upon arriving Colossus, NI and Stealth were running 2 trains and were walk on! :)All the mazes were walk on for most of the night, the longest I waited was 10 minutes for The Curse as its at the front of the park. Experiment 10 is definitely the best maze, very unique and the most scarey!Colossus, NI and Stealth went down to 1 train between 6-8pm as it got to the point that there was hardly no one around! We could just stay in our seat on Colossus and NI and Stealth had that middle gate open all night so we didn't have to walk around! All rides had some sort of Fright Night music playing. Stealth was playing the "its only a dream, its only a dream" line like last year :PThe Swarm station frame work looks complete and the track brake run and a turn around before looks done.Only Slammer was down the whole night and all in all this has got to be one of the best visits that I can recall. Well done TP!
  11. I went on Monday 21st got there about 9:50am and got a new Standard Annual Pass. They let me have the free parking as I got my Tesco Token before they changed the park perks!I was very impressed with the park. All rides were available (Colossus, NI and Stealth on 1 train) and I did not see a single breakdown all day although I was on Stealth most of the day ;)Queues were walkon to 15 minutes. The 15 minutes being Storm Surge. The park was very clean and it looks like some parts have had a paint job over the closed season. Staff were friendly and helpful!Colossus x1Nemesis Inferno x1Saw x1Rush x1Rumba Rapids x1Storm Surge x1Stealth x21 (3 Front Row )
  12. I was at Thorpe yesterday too (2nd November)The park was actually more busy then it was when I last visited on the first night of fright nights which was unusual especially for a weekday in November. The thing that kinda ruined my day was the one train operation all day NI and Stealth. Colossus was also on one train for most of the day. There were 30-60 minute queues for most of the day on the major coasters, for one train operation this is unacceptable! I left by 3pm because I refused to wait in those lines if its one train :(Only good thing was that Stealth was open all day with no breakdowns which is a rare sight these days
  13. I went to the Fright Nights today from 4pm.Colossus and NI was walkon (Both were on 2 trains) and Saw was 10min to 30min queues all night! Stealth was down all night, very disappointing! I heard it closed just before 4pm!The Mazes were very good! Queues were Asylum 20min, Hellgate walkon, The Curse 15min, Saw Alive 5min and Horror Zone walkon. Saw Alive looks like it has improved a great deal since my last visit, maybe just cause its Fright Nights afterall ;)Lots of smoke machines around the park
  14. I went today (Tuesday) and it was great! Complete opposite to what Annual Pass Day was like!Nice weather, all rides were working, no breakdowns from what I saw, Stealth opened about 10:20am (I got the first ride ) and it stayed open during the whole day!Colossus (2 trains) had a 30min queue but was like 5min later. Inferno (2 trains) had a 15min queue but was 5min later. Stealth (1 train) was a average 30min queue for most of the day.I would say the crowds were average today as no queue got over 30min for me.Nice to finally have a decent visit for once, last one was back in November
  15. I'm abit too late, the link to the Rumba Rapids theme is down, did anyone get it?
