  1. I imagine the hotel will look and feel more like Chessingtons holiday inn than the Towers/lego variety of hotels. As for hopper shuttle bus... I doubt it, but only for lack of demand. The parks do still do hopper tickets I believe between the three parks, and its always been part of merlins strategy to sell other attractions at their locations (moreso in midway at the moment)
  2. SR would depend entirely on how easy it is to implement it and if it would work well enough.Towers will almost always add single riders to their big attractions and plan for it (and its relatively expected of them now), whereas thorpe naturally have a different way of running.
  3. Yeah, they have little else they can do apart from watch and ensure they don't damage anything - which urban explorers don't do.Quite fascinating photos, I love pictures from these guys!
  4. Thanks for the update, it looks AMAZING! I wanna ride now :(But... one thing ruins it all for me: I've reported you, sorry.
  5. Most people know I feel indifferent to it :oWell, I think most people do..

Nothing wrong with stalking... I'd be bored for a good hour a day otherwise..
  8. Diesel is correct - it was gutted when seen at towers in september (though, me not being a plane geek or anything just thought they made it rather than just brought in a plane!)
  9. My ankles are weird, in that both will click whilst walking sometimes. It's all I hear when working sometimes...But luckily dont get much pain from these things

To JackR - Your signature upsets me. I presume you're trying to quote the lyrics from the Toys'R'Us advert. It says "I don't wanna grow up, I wanna be a Toys'R'Us kid"!
  12. Doubt it. I imagine rent of that site is incredibly expensive. However, it'll probably be their most profitable site of the year anyhow. And ultimately, that's fair enough. People are seemingly willing to spend £6.
  13. I think a show does add to the infrastructure and families, but ride investment really does need to come about NOW.If the show is done well, like mingolands, then we're onto a winner and money well spent. Chances of it being so though?
  14. Definitely worth doing. It's a fantastic park I think... loads are so negative of the place, that I rather enjoyed my first visit this year!
  15. Awww, I love how parents like to embarrass their kids.Never really been embarrassed about posting on them. As long as I don't get lumped with the obsessed people, then I'm okay! My parents go down the childhood sad route rather than anything else, as someone may or may not eventually find out
  16. Why the hell does merlin own this park. Oh yeah, to boost annual pass sales.Godsake.
  17. Oh shut it AstroDan.Bloody moaner
  18. Sealife is mega poo. Only enjoy it if people rush round, much like tussauds really.Ahhhh wells
  19. Is extremely obsessed about Ian. Lucky git
  20. Aww, thats pure dedication! But I don't like that really from a friends thing, you get proper left out... and they generally don't realise they're doing it.
  21. ^ I've never understood removing the free travel for police. It adds extra policing onto the trains, and essentially should be treated like a ghost in the system - these people wouldn't otherwise have been on the train, so you're not physically losing revenue, yet you're getting an amazing service from it. It's ridiculous for them to have "priced" it up. As obviously if people paid, they wouldn't get half as much travel.Winds me right up when people value free items, like when companies give you free benefits which cost zero to them, but then decide to remove it because of the potential revenue lost (even though they'll never, ever make it).The only time I ever argue with people is if I've done it before and it's been allowed countless times, and then be challenged by it. Confidence is there, and then you'll usually win. I do completely agree that ticketing is far too confusing, and that the whole changing names of the tickets have not helped (there's now 3 different offpeak ticket prices for my line, for example), gah. Just do what grand central does, and make it clear, easy and concise. Not difficult. Could even boost revenue.
  22. ^ True, however peaktime is restricted to minimum fare of £12, single or return. So he gets the deal which is valid in peak times I presume.
