Fastrack
When you say queue for the ride, is that when Colossus, Inferno, X no way out and Tidal Wave have zero queues making fastrack irelevant anyway...

Oh you've missed out on nothing. I mean I rode it when it wasn't a golf buggy and it was still trimmed to hell and boring.

Fastrack
The fastrack packages are £9. One of them has Colossus, Nemesis Infero, X No Way out and Tidal Wave or Loggers Leap. The other has Stealth, Vortex, Rush and Samurai. The Hydration package is £6.00 and has Rumba Rapids, Tidal Wave and Loggers Leap. The one shots are either £2.50 or £3.00. The coasters are three pound and the other rides are £2.50. Saw fastrack I believe is £4.00 but I may be wrong :S

Park Music
What we are saying here is that there is zero point riding Vortex until the music comes back.

The Blue Barnacle (Previously Black Buccaneer)
I disagree to be honest. Black Buccaneer is what a Thorpe Park queueline would look like if it was on a hill. It's got well.. a cannon and part of it goes under a waterfall but that's really it. Compared to most rides at Chessington it's pretty poor. Pirates Cove in itself is such a weak area.

Does it make a difference if the park is open then.

So theres pressure on Facebook to add security alert buttons onto every page, and yet this site which in my view just seems to encourage rude remarks and bullying has slipped through the net completely.....- How Busy Is It Going To Be?

People that say "If you don't vote you have no right to bitch"Seriously, I live in a majorly Conservative area. Even if I vote Labour or Lib Dem, Tories will win by majority. According to one site my vote influence on the election is 0.0001%So don't tell me I have no right to bitch because my vote means absolutely nothing anyway.- X

Just an update for you on the website and forum itself as there has been only park news recently. First TPM, as you may be aware I rejoined the forum as a moderator a few weeks ago. This was because after my first few visits to Thorpe park this year, my interest in the park has been reunited and I could see a few areas on TPM that hadn't been updated or touched for years. Some of the changes will be subtle such as a rejig of ride descriptions (As Samurai has seen recently) or a complete redo (Rumba Rapids). We've also added the Saw Island area. Seperate from Canada Creek, the park agreed that instead of shoehorning it in, it has its own dedicated page. The team (Ian, Marc, Ricky and I) will be working on this over the next few weeks so let us know what you think and any changes you think we should implement.A few things have been asked about Chessington Mania over the last few weeks. To be honest with you, it's a difficult one to call. We want to do the park justice but with Themeuk having so much material and rescources (particularly from the past) it's a hard area to tap into. Nevertheless, having spoken with Themeparkmad and MikeyT, they have got the enthusiasm and dedication to make it a fantastic site. I know it's been a long time coming but when it does come out it will be brilliant. As for the Forum, with the increased useage over the last few weeks there have been a few spam sessions and a few people who see fit to insult others or members of staff at the park. In a few weeks we will be rolling out some new ground rules to the forum just to reiterate the guidelines to the forum. Remember, if a member starts acting out of line just use the report button instead of deciding to take on the mantle and try to moderate yourselfs. There was a spam attack last night by a member and many of you went the right way about it and the matter was dealt with swiftly. We are hoping to arrange a Meet to Chessington soon and a topic will be posted very shortly hopefully with an ERT session also arranged.Again if you have any comments or questions, just message one of the moderators. Thanks for listening.- Random

I believe Thorpe were a little bit more experimental with it although it was six years ago so can't remember exactly. Chessington restricted it to 5 pods so 10 of the 18 pods. The throughput is around 300/350 when you load 6 out of 18 pods.(Although bear in mind, if all 18 pods were loaded that would be a half an hour ride as it takes so long to go round)- Peeking Heights
I can tell you that (being that I operated the bloody thing more then I like to remember)Basically, the more pods you start to use, despite the balancing idea on the ride, the more likely the ride will slip. When you load three pods on each side the wheel more or less is balanced. However when you go up to 4 and 5 pods the wheel tends to move by itself when you turn of the break and before the motors engage. So to stop that happening you only use 6 of the 18 pods. Of course its incredibly infuriating for the queue, incredibly infuriating for the guests and staff and all in all..A rubbish and worthless ride that should be removed.- SAW: Alive
I don't think Se7en has anything to do with the film actually. It's certainly not implied anywhere at the attraction- Vampire
