Guests being slow is one factor, the other being even if you run the ride perfectly, it just cannot get that throughput because the ride isn't capable of doing it. The final thing is the ride faulting. A lot of the time on Fury for example was drive over-speed which would just cut the drive out.

Right... Dragons Fury's target is 700 which is nigh on impossible, Vampire's is 1000 where again is pretty impossible.Rememebr, those target things are absolute crap, the Carousel one for instance is 700, which works out at 10 rides an hour, every seat full and only a 90 second setting.And how often do you think all that happens..Vampire is the more popular ride, arguably Fury is a better ride experience.

I'd say thorpe is the only park where the map is slightly pointless... afterall you can just look up and see the ride you want...

Awww. I like it a lot and I am glad it's purple, the old yellow always started looking disgusting after a few weeks so hopefully this will retain its colour for longer.

And I speak as someone who really liked the cartoonish map from the last two seasons.Thats just bloody awful.Edit:- Ok,. slight opinion change, the rides look awful but I love some of the little people around the park such as the alien by Inferno and the kick me sign guy near Rush.

I really like it. The park knows there is so much riding on Wild Asia that its right it completely dominates the map and looks so much larger then any other area. Kobra looks absolutely massive on there!

That sounds about right, I went on one of those Christian event days where there was 25,000 guests and the most we queued was 90 minutes for Oblivion.Whilst the queues at Alton can be just as long if not longer then Thorpes, the parks rides have higher capacities meaning that whilst you may queue the same amount of time, it doesn't feel as long as you are nearly constantly moving.I'd rather queue 90 minutes for Oblivion for instance then 20 minutes for Vortex.

Back then the forum had more members then sense. Now it desperately clings onto all the active members it can muster

Yeah that's right, you get some absolutely beautiful views of Fury from up there so it's almost a shame it's only for young adventurers

Agreed with the consensus, Thorpe's "lets paint it blue" philosophy is far superior.(Just a shame, some of Chessington's best themed rides and area are now gone )
