MikeC
Erm yes you could, this is more like a whole OS over the clouds, not just a few bits of personal data. Think of it like a terminal server I guess just over the net and a whole lot bigger!Oh, nice to see you've seen the wonders of exactly what MobileMe does. Phill
I think cloud computing has a long way to go before it becomes anything but a novelty. Internet speeds just aren't realistically fast enough, or reliable enough. We're slowly moving towards it, which is what Google has been really pushing (email, contacts, calendars), that said I think the jump to full blown apps being on 'the cloud' is a jump to far, at least for now. iCharlie
I knew Marc would be the first to notice that.Seriously though, if you think thats how fast mobile Internet is, you're probably better off not owning an iPhone.Admittedly though, on WiFi networking, my mobile is as fast as adverts. Marc
How could I not =p I recon the people who would of been misled by that and complained are those who dont really know much about technology, with the adverts saying how "fast" it is, then spending their money and being disappointed. AeRo
So the iPhone is no faster than my Sony Ericsson? Gosh I was taken in by the hype
MikeC
I for one won't be buying any Apple products ever again - they're happy to sell you it (shown by the video) yet when it fupps up then they leave you in the lurch.
AeRo
Ditto with my Gateway Laptop, 20 months old, the hard drive with the 3 year warranty packs up, neither Western Digital or Gateway wanted to know. Pffttt.

Even them in the Brum Apple Shop help out!And in regards to the iPod Nano chromatic's, as mentioned ages ago in this thread, I has a blue one, and I lurve it! Best iPod ever released, forget the Touch & Classic, iPod Nano's are the way to go!Long live Apple
James
I don't think I agree with the 'best iPod ever released' statement there but I do think they are very good and much better than the previous generation Nano's, however after owning a touch I don't think I would ever want to go back to owning a Nano. The Touch is simpler and easier to use than those horrible little circle button things.
