Alex Posted January 12, 2008 Report Posted January 12, 2008 I'm not against long distance relationships, but that takes the piss Quote
Marc Posted January 12, 2008 Report Posted January 12, 2008 Long distance relationships can work, but if the other persons abit of a ****, you have no chance! Quote
Fred Posted January 12, 2008 Report Posted January 12, 2008 Isn't that kinda the same with local relationships? Quote
Mark9 Posted January 12, 2008 Report Posted January 12, 2008 A class of five-year old school children return to the classroom after playing in the playground during their break time. The teacher says to the first child "Hello Becky, what have you been doing this playtime?" Becky replies "I have been playing in the sand box". "Very good," says the teacher "if you can spell 'sand' on the blackboard, I will give you a biscuit". Becky duly goes and writes 's a n d' on the blackboard. "Very good" says the teacher and gives Becky a biscuit. The teacher then says "Freddie, what have you been doing in your playtime?" Freddie replies "Playing with Becky in the sand box". "Very good" says the teacher. "If you can spell 'box' on the blackboard, I will also give you a biscuit". Freddie duly goes and writes 'b o x' on the blackboard. "Very good" says the teacher and gives Freddie a biscuit.Teacher then says "Hello Mohammed, have you been playing in the sand box with Becky and Freddie?" "No" replies Mohammed, "I wanted to, but they would not let me. Every time I went near them they started throwing sand at me and calling me nasty names"."Oh dear" says the teacher. "That sounds like blatant racial discrimination to me - I'll tell you what, if you can spell 'blatant racial discrimination' I will give you a biscuit". Quote
Phill Posted January 12, 2008 Author Report Posted January 12, 2008 Hahaha. And this guy from Canada is GORGEOUS. God damn me liking people miles away. Haha. Quote

But yes Canadian, and has a dreamy name, dreamy voice, and is a geek. Oh and the his 'American/Canadian' words are so cute, SNEAKERS , lol. Ahhhhhhhh. Quote

Mark9 Posted January 12, 2008 Report Posted January 12, 2008 I'd recommend against trying a long distance relationship with someone in Canada. I tried it with Matt who only lived in Canterbury but it made saying goodbye incredibly painful. Quote
Phill Posted January 12, 2008 Author Report Posted January 12, 2008 I don't plan to have one, its more just damn, he lives in Canada and seems so perfect. How life is unfair etc. I'v had them before, not as far as Canada though, but yeah its hard saying goodbye when you meet. I didn't wanna let go last time. /Depresing. But yeah, damn life Quote
Maxi Posted January 12, 2008 Report Posted January 12, 2008 awww....sorry. Yah maybe that wouldn't be a good idea. I would think that was a long long distance relationship. I can't do those. I think it would kill me Quote
Fred Posted January 12, 2008 Report Posted January 12, 2008 Long distances work definitely, but I'm gonna say only if you see them. I saw eleanor once a month, and it worked very well for the year and a half . Quote
Maxi Posted January 12, 2008 Report Posted January 12, 2008 I guess I would see him more than once a month but for once a month and lasting a year and half you must have style Peter Quote
Fred Posted January 12, 2008 Report Posted January 12, 2008 I think I just found someone I really like, and hopefully same back. We're still good friends afterwards, probably will continue seeing each other on a monthly basis really. Quote
Maxi Posted January 12, 2008 Report Posted January 12, 2008 Well good luck then. I'm not dating at the moment. To much to do. I want to be free as a bird Kidding, I don't know, nobody has manged to out do the person I like so I'm single Quote
