Ricky
There was an ambulance parked outside Stealth today and most of the Amity area was out of bounds - anyone know what the deal was? Hope whoever the ambulance was for is okay!Do not fear, they were fine.
Willy
Stealth was closed for most of today until about 4.30 when it opened. We had just joined the queue for Saw when the Stealth opening announcement was made so hot-footed it over. They kept it open until 5.30 as well, which I thought was pretty good. It's also the only time I've ever seen the front row queue going all the way down the stairs!

Black Telephone
I like Stealth's new restraints.Nice and sturdy By 'new' do you mean 'new style', as in "I like the new style restraints that Stealth has" or does it really have new restraints. If the latter I am quite disappointed since the restraints were the best restraints at Thorpe Park. Could someone post a photograph if it is true. Marc
They just have slightly different padding on the parts which go over your shoulders. No real difference ride wise.
A-Kid
They have been on for ages? If your talking about the L shaped design. They just make the restraint less flexable, and thus less likely to snap when being pulled down. The ride still needs T-bars...even if they arn't as practical for loading. The ride would be that much better.

Whiteknuckle
That's what I don't get.Top Thrill Dragster is twice the height and faster and yet it only has a seatbelt and lapbar, yet Stealth, slower and lower has OSTR's.Any reason for this, or is it health and saftey doing their bit?Apologies if this has been mentioned in the thread beforehand. After all Hydro used to run fine with a T-bar and now it doesn't. Kingda Ka is essentially a taller TTD and yet thats fully kitted with orange OTSR's. Luke_A
Are the new restraints similar to the new ones on Intimidator 305, what month were they fitted?
th13teen
Is it just me or does stealth suffer badly during fright night after about 6 at night? What was the problem 2 years ago when it was only open for the first week of fright night then no longer opened again untill next season?
Luke_A
^Yes, Stealth usually does suffer during Fright Nights, If you think about all of the launch machinery; it will get tired and have problems if constantly used for a long period of time without a break. This is probably what the problem is during fright nights and other long days. Anyone have any pics of the new restraints? I am visiting soon, but just wanted too see if they had any major changes? There not really major, its just the black bits which are a slightly different shape thats all.
Luke_A
^ Oh, ok I know what you mean now; are these the ones that are in my member account picture? They have a more sort of L shape near the Seat belt.
holtjammy16
No instead of being flat they have a more 3D shape to them, also they are alot sturdier and so are the handles
gerstlaue
Shazamm! These are what the 'new' restraints are like, just a bit of a raised bit, which I expect, is to try and prevent neck chopping.(These are ones on Kingda Ka)
Kevin
Lets hope the Queen gets them too, that first turn is a mother if you don't properly brace yourself.
th13teen
are they as difficult as before? Because I know when your in a rush to get seated and attach the safety buckle it can be akward to place the safety buckly in, in such a short space of time! holtjammy16
No nothing else is different just that, also they aren't really that padded, they are hard.
JamesB
Couldn't understand why Stealth was on one train when Colossus and Inferno were on two, and they both had shorter queues. Meh!
Luke_A
Possibly for something to do with the new restrains?
Marc
There not new, theyve been on some seats since last year.
Luke_A
^Are they only on 2 out of the 3 trains?Because when I last visited in July, I think 1 train had them on, the other did not?
Marc
I guess there replaced as and when needed.
JamesB
I think I had a new restraint yesterday, it felt different to how I remembered. The launch still catches me out to this day, I don't think you can beat the feeling in your stomach just as your approaching the tophat, just amazing!
