March 23, 200916 yr comment_49732 The queues were tiny yesterday, I got on SAW 7 times possibly the best day I have had at Thorpe Park for a while.I was with you and it was brilliant-we got on the second ride of slammer in the year, stealth was testing which is good news and generally the park was great
March 23, 200916 yr comment_49734 Did the rapids open too then? Are there any more water features???And how was SAW in terms of re;iablity
March 23, 200916 yr comment_49741 Did the rapids open too then? Are there any more water features???And how was SAW in terms of re;iablityRapids were open, SAW broke down for about 20mins, Rumba had all of its features working apart from the shower.
March 23, 200916 yr comment_49767 anyone know why saw is down?and can someone pm about the warehouse part cos I need to tell a mate who is nervous about it :ninja:I hope its up and running soon
March 23, 200916 yr comment_49786 My mates are going tomorrow, they really wanna ride SAW so I wonder if it'll be open for them...
March 24, 200916 yr comment_49815 Rapids were open, SAW broke down for about 20mins, Rumba had all of its features working apart from the shower. I was there and SAW broke down ab about 4 and I thought it would not be up again because after about a 15 minute wait thay closed the shop, did it re-open?
March 24, 200916 yr comment_49816 ^That's one thing I never understood. Whenever SAW breaks down they close the shop. :sSurely they would still want to sell the merchandise regardless? :sIt just doesnt make sense.
March 24, 200916 yr comment_49826 anyone know why its been closed throughout the evening of yesterday and today? and they may close the shop because no-one would wanna go in there if they dont go and get there pics?I still like the idea of getting a needle pen though
March 24, 200916 yr comment_49827 and they may close the shop because no-one would wanna go in there if they dont go and get there pics? The Shop is separate to the photo collection point
March 24, 200916 yr comment_49842 When we first walked into the building in the SAW queueline, I said to my friend, "Wow, this looks just like the corridor where that man got shot in the head by a rifle on Saw 1. Ow, they should have put a rifle in here!" 2 seconds later. Bang! Lol.That just shows you that Thorpe and Lionsgate just think of every little detail when designing the theming of the ride.
March 24, 200916 yr comment_49849 The Shop is separate to the photo collection pointahhh rite well shows how much I know :Dcos I aint been there yet :ninja:well they probably think that if the ride is closed then there is no point having the shop open because people arent gonna bother going over there if the rides not open?
March 24, 200916 yr comment_49852 ahhh rite well shows how much I know cos I aint been there yet well they probably think that if the ride is closed then there is no point having the shop open because people arent gonna bother going over there if the rides not open?I can understand where you are coming from (most people will ride and then buy a souvenir to remember their ride), but to be honest, I would just go over to the shop anyway. Remember, they also sell non-SAW things like Chocolate and drinks, so Thorpe Park will keep the store open whatever the weather for maximum profit.
March 24, 200916 yr comment_49856 Yeah but the profit gained might not be much due to the lack of people on the island, so if they close it, they dont need to pay the electricity bills or staff
March 24, 200916 yr comment_49857 ^Yet they dont as when the ride breaks down they close the shop. :S
March 24, 200916 yr comment_49858 ^Yet they dont as when the ride breaks down they close the shop. :SOh well. All I know is that I would visit the shop whether the ride is open or not.
March 24, 200916 yr comment_49859 When I went on opening day, I was pissed off to find that I couldn't go in the shop for my SAW T-shirt but I managed to get of them sick pens from the Colossus shop
March 24, 200916 yr comment_49862 ^^^ They have SAW t-shirts in Thorpe megastore, Thats where I got mine And by the way they would still have to pay the saff regardless of weather the shop is open or not, They are in the hours they are supposed to be working so they have to by law get paid
March 24, 200916 yr comment_49864 ^^ lol thats unluckydid u get issued with free tickets because saw broke down on opening weekend?and does anyone know why its currently down at the moment??
March 24, 200916 yr comment_49865 How much are the hoodies and T-Shirts?Think the hoodies are either £25 or £30 depending on size from what I remember anyway, and I think the T-Shirts are £15
