dj olly c
Rapids were open, SAW broke down for about 20mins, Rumba had all of its features working apart from the shower. I was there and SAW broke down ab about 4 and I thought it would not be up again because after about a 15 minute wait thay closed the shop, did it re-open? Louis
^That's one thing I never understood. Whenever SAW breaks down they close the shop. :sSurely they would still want to sell the merchandise regardless? :sIt just doesnt make sense. Stokesyboy
anyone know why its been closed throughout the evening of yesterday and today? and they may close the shop because no-one would wanna go in there if they dont go and get there pics?I still like the idea of getting a needle pen though
StevenVig
and they may close the shop because no-one would wanna go in there if they dont go and get there pics? The Shop is separate to the photo collection point
Paul
When we first walked into the building in the SAW queueline, I said to my friend, "Wow, this looks just like the corridor where that man got shot in the head by a rifle on Saw 1. Ow, they should have put a rifle in here!" 2 seconds later. Bang! Lol.That just shows you that Thorpe and Lionsgate just think of every little detail when designing the theming of the ride. Stokesyboy
The Shop is separate to the photo collection pointahhh rite well shows how much I know :Dcos I aint been there yet :ninja:well they probably think that if the ride is closed then there is no point having the shop open because people arent gonna bother going over there if the rides not open? Paul
ahhh rite well shows how much I know cos I aint been there yet well they probably think that if the ride is closed then there is no point having the shop open because people arent gonna bother going over there if the rides not open?I can understand where you are coming from (most people will ride and then buy a souvenir to remember their ride), but to be honest, I would just go over to the shop anyway. Remember, they also sell non-SAW things like Chocolate and drinks, so Thorpe Park will keep the store open whatever the weather for maximum profit. meme5053
Yeah but the profit gained might not be much due to the lack of people on the island, so if they close it, they dont need to pay the electricity bills or staff
Louis
^Yet they dont as when the ride breaks down they close the shop. :S
Paul
^Yet they dont as when the ride breaks down they close the shop. :SOh well. All I know is that I would visit the shop whether the ride is open or not.
TPAddict
When I went on opening day, I was pissed off to find that I couldn't go in the shop for my SAW T-shirt but I managed to get of them sick pens from the Colossus shop
Ricky
^^^ They have SAW t-shirts in Thorpe megastore, Thats where I got mine And by the way they would still have to pay the saff regardless of weather the shop is open or not, They are in the hours they are supposed to be working so they have to by law get paid
