MikeC
It was the smoke effect machine which had come on unexpectedly and was pumping out a lot of smoke/haze. The reason the area was evacuated was because of this as the machine was previously switched off and not working.
speedjunkie
Ah, okay my bad people, wonder why it came on
AHW
If the smoke machine wanted to come on, I hope the fire and water tower will decide to come on aswell ;)Also on the way home (around 6-ish), I've could of sworn Slammer was testing... Marc
I would be surprised, there was an awful lot more to do to slammer before it can start testing.

AHW
No. Trains are been stored inside a hut nearby Canada Creek's Toliets.
MikeC
No they're not. They're under Canada Creek Railway Station roof.

AHW
Canada Creek Railway, Rumba Rapids, Slammer, Rush and Detonator are currently closed.
James
Rumba was running a very limited amount of boats on Saturday so I would imagine that its now having the rest of the boats added and tested before it will reopen.Rush and Slammer seemed to be getting special attention on Saturday as well so will hopefully open soon. Detonator I hope will be open for the TPM meet up on 24th, looks as if they only have to reconnect the cables and get its tests done but it may need more stuff done I'm not sure. AHW
I know about Rumba Rapids, the queue was massive and I could spot a boat going past the rocks every minute unlike every 5 seconds . But now its currently closed. And yes on Saturday I saw people working on Rush. Saw nothing done to Slammer or Detonator though .And yes Holly, Rocky Express was open on Saturday. James
Slammer had a cherry picker for a short while when we were walking past. You and the bloody Rocky Express Holly Slammers new restraints are still in their protective covering though.

AHW
They have to be to be honest, the restraints are speically designed for the Sky Swat type of flat ride.
Pickles
Yes well the restraint are one of the reasons why I draw the line at it.
MikeC
They aren't restraints; They have merely been sent back to S+S in America.
NickD
The restraints where sent back to s&s at the end of last season, I believe that the park have now received some new restraints for the ride. I have heard that Slammer should be re-opening on the weekend with all other rides re-opening during the week!
