In the latest video Thorpe Park have shared on their social media platforms it appears to show the Swarm ‘brave it backwards’ three times throughout the duration. Could this his be a final teaser or just generic stock footage? Guess we will find out tomorrow.

Wouldn’t be surprised if we see Rumba on limited boats during the first few weeks/months of season. I suppose if it’s actually open that should be an achievement.

Congrats to Thorpe for making the Colossus area look like the Margate seafront.. (Minus the sea..) At least the run down pits used to blend into the area a little, they could of least done something more than just throw a bunch of concrete at it, looks horrendous.

Think how good the physical theming could be if the money squandered on virtual reality was spent on actual reality instead. Could have turned it into something truly spectacular. With the insurmountable impracticalities of VR being slapped over an existing attraction like this the result was bloody obvious and called out as such by anyone with any clue before it even opened. What a huge waste of money at a park already being strangled by lack of funding.

Incredibly disappointing, should have kept it as an option at least. I personally thought it was a brilliant and well executed experience, by far the best VR experience I've ever done. Now we have a ride with a theme that makes no sense.
