    Actually with the right admixtures it will ๐Ÿ˜ once the chemical reaction starts, hence how concrete can be poured under water. However generally you are correct, concrete isnโ€™t poured in the rain as the increase in water content affects concrete strength. Not something you want in a coaster of this size!!

    Slammer won't be removed until they have something to go in it's place or plans for the area, I guarantee. If they haven't fixed/replaced an on it's last legs screen, or have multi-coloured tarmac all over the place due to laying cables or whatever, then I can't see them spending money on removing an SBNO ride that is sort-of hidden and next to a not very popular "experience".

    Reminder of the rough timespan. Just over 2.5 months allocated for the vertical construction.

    Vertical construction will probably be starting September / October time. For a point of reference, Swarm's didn't start until late September, and only took about 30 days.
