We've been working with THORPE PARK and we are delighted to be able to offer our members an exclusive Colossus event, celebrating the rides 10th year! Its all a little odd, in years gone by slammers had months at a time down and they've never removed the signs for it. I do hope it reopens, but I guess it could be a fair while if they have removed the signs around the ride!

Can understand why you would be concerned, but ive never personally seen any problems with lockers, and they are probably much safer than taking your items on the rides. Regarding pockets, as long as its secure thats tine.

What makes you think the lockers are not safe? Id trust the new ones in the lower dome, and you can go to them as much as you like throughout the day without paying more money.

^ yea it does I dont buy the whole you shouldnt have to brace your self... Your traveling near on 50mph, exposed to the elements through 10 inversions, of course you will need to brace your self, as you would on any intense ride (Even on b&ms...)

I dont really think Colossus's "roughness" is enough to to things such as spend millions on new trains / retracking it, aslong as you brace your self its fine really.

I'm sure they all reopened since then

Its not that pointless, when people decide on going on a day out, I'm sure comparisons to other activity's they could do would be considered. I just chose football as one from my own experience where it varys from £8 - £10 per car (for what, 3 hours max?), suddenly makes £4 seem reasonable.

When you compare it to similar activity's like parking at a football match, £4 is still very reasonable.
