  1. Colossus is down for work to Colossus and no other attractions, the cherry pickers around the area give that much away!
  2. It was pretty busy last weekend and both days were extended till 6pm, alot of it depends on the weather and what not!

    The Smiler

I hope they put more effort into it than they have the MS Paint logo! lol
  4. It's not been the best recently , although if true about Colossus it sounds like its planned but still not good.. Although hopefully slammer will be back this week!

And what a let down that was It certainly dont live up to "the worlds most intense rollercoaster experience" Although back to SW7 I guess this wont be a worlds first then, more breaking an existing record?
  6. The music at rush is chart music, remember anything atall about the song?
  7. I'd say ride reliability is a weird one, whilst on the face of it they look much worse than the others I'm not sure if they are... If we start with the disaster of Saw, if you consider the fact the ride was having all sorts of issues before it even opened and was being tested, a process TP would have little input in, and then on its opening day the ride manufacture had to come out and install trim brakes not too sure you can blame them for that. Swarm has suffered too, pictures on Facebook of bolts popping every other day, from the manufacture who are meant to be the best at what they do, again do you blame Tp for this or is there little they can do, bolts are checked but they can't keep an eye on then all day every day so when they pop it equals down time. And then there's slammer and rush where I think the park deserve alot of credit, when they opened they were stupidly unreliable, but the park has worked on them and they run well ( when slammer does!!) and the amount of money actually spent on slammer where most parks could just as easily give up I think is very good of them

Id guess even though not on the MDTP they would have little problem getting permission, its quite small compared to some of the installations they have! Maybe its been approved but site not updated yet? Its been over a month now..

Things can change quite easily, I guess we will have to wait and see.

    Slammer

Current rumour is that both rides will be up and running within a couple of weeks
  11. Never said I loved it, I just know its not going to just be gotten rid of so soon after it was installed..
  12. Here to stay, it wasnt cheap to install, with all the plumbing and what not, and the difference between this and eclipse is people actually ride Storm Surge, id say its here to stay for a few years yet.
  13. To be fair things can change
  14. Was very busy today and hours were extended till 6

Wouldn't surprise me atall, good to hear the park are working to get both rides up and running as soon as possible!
  16. I doubt very much so that they will get a second hand one, that would defeat the point in getting a new one to solve its problems. I dont think a new one is needed or will happen, I'm sure Samurai will receive the attention it needs and be up and running well again.
  17. Well if its new it would be painted which ever way thorpe asked?
  18. it is weird how Saw suffers so badly, its not really got any better / worse since it opened.. Although I do find the back row bearable still just about.
  19. The ride is open, website just isnt updated yet...
  20. Colossus is back open now
  21. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-19660221 - Looks quite fun / scary at the same time!!
  22. Perhaps Stealth's was more planned and thats why its down as essential maintanence?
  23. Sounds like Colossus's problem is with a support from what was said in another topic with them working on the concrete around the support, its a shame but one of them things when building on the kind of land at the park, hopefully it wont be down for too long!
  24. This is said alot, I dont see why people assume alot of money was spent on the IP because from what ive heard, thats simply just not the case, very little was spent infact and lionsgate just reap the rewards of their name in the press for a couple more years.
