    Troubleshooting

There is quite alot going on on the main view which your phone browser probably can't handle very well, IPB reccomend either using the mobile skin or their own app.
  2. It should work fine, most audio problems at thorpe are more local to the ride Rarther than the park wide system
  3. In the last week of the season stealth single rider queue was being trailed as a disabled queue, so don't be surprised if that's gone next season too
  4. I guess anywhere where the track passes over guests there will be netting.
  5. Let them continue (and waste their own money) I say. I'm sure alton will be in the right so they are the only ones who will lose in the end..
  6. AFAIK they were still over budget for both days so I guess it was seen as a success. Its a shame theres no where in the park they could hold a display and it be watched by the number the park can holdOut of interest, was altons event 3 days then? I only saw it advertised for the weekend!
  7. http://planning.runnymede.gov.uk/Northgate/PlanningExplorer/Generic/StdDetails.aspx?PT=Planning%20Applications%20On-Line&TYPE=PL/PlanningPK.xml&PARAM0=175527&XSLT=/Northgate/PlanningExplorer/SiteFiles/Skins/Runnymede_AA/xslt/PL/PLDetails.xslt&FT=Planning%20Application%20Details&PUBLIC=Y&XMLSIDE=/Northgate/PlanningExplorer/SiteFiles/Skins/Runnymede_AA/Menus/PL.xml&DAURI=PLANNING theres the application, I hear phase one is due to start being built in February
  8. Was certainly the case this year, they dont really have the space to cater for any more people to be in the viewing areas for the display.
  9. True, and your right. But I guess in the reality that's not allways what happens, and they could of so easily left it down all day and simply told guests it would be closed today, sure it don't look great but people would accept that. I just thought was very good of them to go through the efforts they did for a few more hours of it running.
  10. I'm not to sure, tbh I saw Colossus go down but that was back up within 20 mins or so, didn't see storm surge's down time. And in reply to josh, yeah what mark said is what I meant
  11. It had a problem the evening before and closed early, I'm not sure on the exact details but even from watching the attendants they would push a button and it would take a good 20 seconds to do something which is usually instant.
  12. Hey guys,Just to let you all know we plan to take down the Park Guide sometime soon for abit of work, following in the footsteps of the park we will stop categorising the rides by Area and will do so by the rides thrill rating. There are a number of reasons behind this, as the park installs new rides its harder and harder to fit them in with the existing structure of the guide. CheersMarc
  13. 50+ minute queue was mainly a result of it being slow due to the problem it had... Would they have all gone to guest services and complained if it hadnt opened, a handful maybe.
  14. I find that a little harsh, IMO they more than made up for it by pretty much working on stealth all day to get it going for the last few hours of the season, with it being quiet they so easily could have left it down all day and no one would have really cared to much.
  15. With ccr going I'd like to see the area between Canada creek and lost city opened up as much as possible, would create a nice big open space
  16. Inferno > SawSaw is far more intense than Inferno but I'm one of those who rarely come of Saw without a headache, theres a few points around the track where its pretty painful. Theming wise I would go for Saw though, whilst it only really has the warehouse / dark section so does Inferno and I find Saws more interactive and just a little better overall.Stealth > InfernoEasy one for me, theres a reason Stealths the parks icon ride, its fast, intense and stands out by far, nothing on park can beat Stealth front row for me.Colossus > InfernoAnother easy one for me, for all its problems (trains / restraints / slow loading times) I still find the overall ride better, I think it interacts better with guests both on and off the ride and overall provides a more enjoyable experience.
  17. Just wanted to say the Saw lights meant to flicker like most of the other lights do inside
  18. General stuff is fine, but the more to do with The Swarm the better
  19. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0DE-NMUAaFoRecorded this Wednesday, just like the old days, so much better!

  21. IF you could interview B&M, what questions would you love to know the answers too and ask them?
  22. It don't run out soon and I'm sure they will fix it!
  23. Thorpe Parks newest ride, The Swarm is to feature On Ride video's of its victims as they brave the ride, and Thorpe Park have asked for their biggest fans input into the final product, you!Obviously, the core footage of the DVD will you be on the ride, but what else would you like to see included on the DVD?Post your thoughts here!
  24. I think this is where we disagree, for what you get IMO annual passes are very good value for money, which is why I guess I dont mind things such as the £5 event fee, I spent a fair bit on it last year which is why this year I decided to get a premium pass.
