  1. A couple of updates from over the weekendhttp://www.lc12.co.uk/news/2011/track-construction-beginshttp://www.lc12.co.uk/news/2011/track-construction-continuesHope to get some more exciting updates this week too
  2. Nothings impossible, but we need to make sure we keep standards with tpm, which is and will alllways be our flagship site.Whilst it would-be nice, Thete isnt much intrest in the project overall.
  3. Agree with all said, Experiment 10 was very impressive, total different to any maze ive been in before, also themed very well.Others were all as they were, Asylum was pretty good as always, Se7en and Curse pretty good, actors were also really going for it in Saw Alive.Theres a few bits and bobs of theming scattered across the park.
  4. Unfortunately due to lack of intrest when you compare with tpm, there are no plans for the launch or cwoa mania as of yet.
  5. We will have some exciting updates very soon
  6. I guess everyones different, I for instance find Vampire rough, it seems to shake you backwards and forwards and I find that much more painful than Colossus, but what ever ride I ride be it a B&M or Intamin I will brace my self to a degree becuase at high speeds I expect there to be some force which would possibly cause pain if I wasnt to brace my self.Ive never been on iSpeed so cant really comment, but from experience with rita your right, you do need to be very careful not to hit your neck on the side of them bars as whilst it goes though the corners, it can hurt, but on say Stealth, I have no problem with them restraints atall.
  7. I dont see how that makes it a badly designed ride, its fast and forceful, if you was to sit on Nemesis without bracing your self and letting your head go whichever way it wanted you would hit your head too....
  8. Whilst for sure Colossus is abit rough in places, I don't see how people manage to come off with headaches, if you brace your self against the forces its fine, well allways has been for me
  9. I have to disagree with this, id say the music is the best its been in a long time, alot of things have been fixed in the past few months, all the rides all play their own tracks, equipment has been added to, improved and repaired. I agree with you regarding Inferno, would be great to have that back to how it was, I dont really see your point on Colossus, the beatbox track is just another variation of the Colossus theme (http://www.thorpeparkmania.co.uk/page/remote_audio_view.php?ride=Colossus&track=Colossus%20Theme%20-%20Beatbed).I also agree about chart music on rides, although I suspect the reason its on Fish is because fish falls under the beach / neptunes area on the link, and the beach had the chart music.

  11. HI Phill Just wanted to say fantastic work with the site, a hell of a lot of interesting bits and bobs on there, like Pluk, brings back some great memories!Keep up the good work :)Marc
  12. I think some pads have been removed rather than them wearing out, hopefully they will replace them though. Also noticed it seems to have some new boats with drainage now too
  13. Was on park today and got a few pics :)There on our new Mini Site http://www.lc12.co.uk/
  14. I think thats probably exactly what they were going for!The open times on the website not updated yet.
  15. They want people to go to the park now though, they wont be to worried about next year yet
  16. Not sure if thats a serious comment?
  17. Indeed they are, had the park had the numbers they expecting and not 2/3 times them it would have probably been ok...
  18. I'm not sure, I'd say the problems on annual pass day were very different to problems on other days

Neither personally, the iPhone 5 should be out soon, at the very least meaning the 4 will drop in price and the 3gs phased out.
  21. The speakers play sound effects, theres usually an actor in the area trying to climb the fence, warning people that Thorpe are hiding somthing with "police" there moving him along.
  22. I do think people are somewhat jumping to conclusions here... its not unusual in anyway for work to start on the construction of the mazes in September, to get rid of the beach and make it look presentable would cost a large chunk of money, I cant see that being around with The Swarm being built, so yes whilst the message could be taken as its being removed, id be more inclined to read it as they are simply getting it ready to build the Fright Night attractions...
  23. Or maybe they are preparing for Fright Nights...
