  1. Sorry it took me ages to get back on this as I was unsure of my availability - So on short notice can you please add me to the event - I look forward to it
  2. avoided this topic like the plague before this week so I could go on the ride and be surprised as from the small snippets I had seen before regarding frops and effects it seemed like one of those attractions that would appear a lot better without knowing the outcome. For the first time in years I have actually gone on something that actually made me nervous - I knew there was a drop I was excited for that, and the pre-show was entertaining when I got told off for not standing on my circle and seeing this lady being told off for touching her boyfriends bum. However went 'down' the lift - I thought the build up to it was very good and then sat down and the nerves set in as I didn't know what to expect. (as I said a first for me in a long while as mazes don't scare me neither). The effects started - which I thought were well executed - good amount of water, loads of air pipes - the sharp back poker and the change of scenery. There was is my opinion something happening constantly without time for a breather. Went on it twice and I noticed on the first time the pipes and poker were before the drop and the second time they were after the drop - so at least it can keep you guessing for the drop. However I found the drop quite weak - no wear near extremis in london dungeons and actually thought the drop on thirteen was better......I also found that the acttual experience was far too short as soon as you get in to it - it's over - however I loved the element that the attraction still wasn't over due to the happenings in the second lift which I thought was a nice touch. In all I really can't see this attraction as a ride but more of a show - but one I thought adds to the park. And defo better than the scaving reviews I heard when it first opened - I did think overall it was very immersive. 6/10

His name, picture, signature and favourite ride all point to Saw: the ride (win), but then mentions on his profile he can't decide between saw or...........Samurai..............(Lose) fair enough at Chessington but at Thorpe....Needs to seriously make up his mind cannot advertise all his Saw loving when Samurai still comes into the picture!
  11. I have voted good as I believe it is a fantastic addition to the park - but I don't think it is the best ride there. I'm extremely happy with the new addition and I believe it's a great ride - It's nice and immersive and a couple of the loops on it are some of my favourites - Well done Thorpe
  12. I'm loving the pics there Stuz - I love these things as months down the line you can just look back and remember some great moments from that particular day - good angles of the rides as well ^_^Can't wait to have a camera again soon in a couple of months as I'll be able to join in regarding 'memory lane'(and also secretly taking bad/ embarrasing shots of unexpected victims mwhahahahaha..............hmmmmmmmm excuse me)
  13. Is now a Dub at TGI Fridays in Leicester Square - after the great interviews (final one this morning) I start my first shift tonight - Exciting!

  14. It was a fantastic day out - I thoroughly enjoyed myself. It was great to meet some people that I've only spoken to before and put some faces to the name and overall it just went swimmingly well.I am looking forward to the next meet
  15. passed the 2nd round - went extremely well so has been asked back again for another final interview ^_^ Loving It!

  16. Was chuffed I was able to make it today - came on the whim last minute due to early finish at work so rushed down to Thorpe as quick as possible. And according I only got there at half 3 I managed to ride 15 coaster rides today - Seemed to be a great day on park.Plus it was awesome to see some faces I havent seen in nearly a year so it was great to catch up.Thank you to the TPM team and Thorpe Park for making this happen - Was a great highlight to the day according I didn't think this morning that I wouldn't be attending - BIG HUGS
  17. Just seen the advert as I found they have the TV advert on their website ^_^It was good they were keeping the theme of the explorer and the zoo and rides got equal mention. (mainly vampire and kobra)You can see how proud chessington are of madagascar this year just because they are showing the madagascar logo as much as possible
  18. Interview could not have gone better - I was on fire ^_^ Have already been asked back to do an OJE on Saturday on their busiest day as they think I'll be bale to cope. Securing the job is looking ever more hopeful - WHOOP WHOOP!!!

  19. Right after originally saying that I was coming and then pulling out because of work commitments - The way things have been going this week we are currently ahead of schedule - I don't know if it means we will just finish earlier in the coming weeks or if it means we get a half day on the Friday which means I'll be able to get from Marylebone to Staines by 5. I so hope this happens. So I can't confirm but there is a small chance I could get there so hope you don't mind me just crashing in last minute If that ends up being the case

    2013 Changes

I can see the new development going there next year as if you think about it it's not a small plot of land if used correctly as you got all the track going behind the inferno shop as well. I remember when riding it the ride always seemed to be longer than I was expecting and had a decent track length IMO.Yes it's not going to fit a massive ride but I can see it easily fitting in a flat ride there.I also noticed there is work going on behind the swarm as well which is not on the other island so we could see a repeat of 2005 with two new additions.............,.Now that would be a shocker......so yeah moving on.......
  22. Yeah we were around the swarm area around 5:30 hobbling along due to some injuries :PJust this moment got in from Thorpe Park today as on way home had to go to the hospital for my mate's knee - so sorry If I wasn't as sociable as I would of liked today but I am extremely appreciative for all of your understanding and waiting for us to hobble along (whilst singing a song) as I can imagine it could of got pretty annoying moving at snail pace. However great regarding that extra ride time for some of ya
  23. Right I will be seeing you guys before I am at the SP meet. A couple of people in your party have my number so you will easily catch me.
  24. Right, I've now been taken by the Swarm so I can actually make an opinion on it now whoop!Right I won't go in too much detail as everyone has covered it but I do think that it was worth the wait. The have made a very good effort on the themeing and I completely loved the coaster however after riding it a few times in various positions I came to a conclusion that it wasn't my favourite rollercoaster in the park (even though it is still very good). Swarm has my favourite inversion I've experienced which is that first inversion after the drop and Being on the right hand side flipping over into the drop was EPIC! but overall I prefered my ride experience surprisingly on the left. However my favourite coaster in the end still for me is SAW. The ride overall is more intense for me and gives me a grey area unlike the Swarm and on Saw there are many drops even after all this time that I sill can't prepare for even after all the times I have been on it. And the opening sections with the traps and Billy and the Station I just love all of that on Saw, so it still is crowned for me as the best coaster there. (I was extremely impressed with the station for the Swarm)
  25. Can now confirm that the Interview will be on Wednesday 21st March :-)
