Derren Brown's Ghost Train: Rise of the Demon
We don't know it's actor heavy, that's just a guess to fit the "MERLIN IS SO CRAP" agenda that half of this forum seems to have.

Derren Brown's Ghost Train: Rise of the Demon
Might as well close the topic now then. I'll send Thorpe an email and tell them not to bother with any marketing as this is just going to be crap anyway.

Closed Rides
Well done Thorpe for getting Swarm open a day before expected (apparently opening later).

Closed Rides
They didn't specifically say on Thursday 17th March, the letter says "from when we officially open for the 2016 season". Key word being 'from'.

Annual Pass Sale
Buying online would be quicker. It depends what day you go and how early you get there as to how busy it'll be. If you get there early enough (I'd suggest around 9) you should be fine.

Closed Rides
It doesn't matter if you consider it adequate compensation, you didn't go.

Galactica
They are looking at it in a very short term way though, they want to try get lots of people in the park this year. To them, Galactica will bring in more guests this year than no new attraction but all rides open.

Annual Pass Sale
If it's a Thorpe pass it'll have to be collected at Thorpe.

Closed Rides
I don't see a problem with them handing out priority passes this weekend. There were 5 rides due to be closed, so they have given each person (not everyone got a letter though) a letter worth 5 priority passes for each of the closed rides. Also like Marc said, they can be used all year round, if they were only valid on one day then yes you could say there'd be a problem. A lot of people were renewing their passes yesterday. So by handing out priority passes at the beginning of the day, and admitting their mistakes/apologizing for rides being closed, they are potentially saving customers who would be put off from renewing after yesterday. Regarding them dishing out priority passes, wasn't it said that they've been a lot stricter on this in the past season?

Derren Brown's Ghost Train: Rise of the Demon
The shed really doesn't look so bad in person, I can think of much bigger dark rides with sheds sticking out.

Closed Rides
Yes there were a few problems with rides today, but there was always lots of friendly helpful staff around!

On Ride Photos
Yeah prints are £10 now, the voucher says you get them for £5 instead of £10.

Tomb Blaster
Have to agree with James there, had really good fun on Tomb Blaster today!

On Ride Photos
Bump.... I got an annual digipass today. This weekend only its £40 and gets you unlimited digital ride photo downloads all year at the parks. Used it on a few rides and it is a very quick process, just tell them your photo number they scan your card and it's done. Looking forward to getting lots of photos this year now! Oh and you also get £5 off the physical photos if you'd like them.
