Please..? - Modern covers band
'Please...?' What a strange name for a band... Good to see them offering a lot of different events though!

The Smiler
Hmmm I actually really liked the advert. I didn't want it to be too sinister as that's not what this ride's about, it's a sort of quirky fun sinister advert. I agree with Josh in the sense that they should have used the laughing version of the Towers theme, but I can see why they stuck with the original. Most people don't watch adverts and they're looking down at their phones etc, so continuously using a well known track for a brand is good marketing as people will hear that and think "OH ALTON TOWERS" and look up at the screen. Very good advert though! One other little thing about this, us enthusiasts know it's all about the marmalisation etc but I wonder how many of the general public will get the story line? Let's just hope they go down the Oblivion route and use very very very good queue-line videos to get the story line out there!

Jobs..
Job sites I've used in the past are http://www.indeed.co.uk/ and https://www.gov.uk/jobsearch . Both easy to use and are updated daily. Good luck finding something though, it's so tough out there at the moment finding jobs, hopefully you'll get something though!

Coupons/Tickets
These are the milkshakes with 2 for 1 vouchers on: Kellogs are also doing the vouchers yes, I expect they'll still be doing them for a good while as summer's coming up so Thorpe will want to attract as many people as possible. Pretty sure some petrol stations are giving 2 for 1 vouchers, WH Smiths usually does too (not sure if they are at the moment)!

Oh how I seriously hope it sounds a LOT better in person.

The Smiler
How on earth is it going to tickle you when you're going at those speeds? I haven't been following this project that closely, but the tickler is those car wash bits right? Any contact with them at speed and you're just asking for trouble. Unless there's something built into the seats? No idea, we'll soon see.

Jobs..
Well done, just shows a bit of persistence and determination will actually get you somewhere!

Europa Park
In Thorpe's defence, they're going in a complete different direction to Europa, aiming at a different target audience. It's Towers on the other hand that need to take a look at Europa and improve drastically if they want to be one of the top theme park destinations in Europe.

Europa Park
Sorting out how much money to take etc. People that have been before, is stuff on park expensive in comparison to Merlin parks? I mean food, merchandise, ride photos etc etc. Any help would be appreciated!

We find it funny because it's strange to us, you probably don't find it as amusing as it's just a normal thing to do for you guys (Joking of course)

Alton Towers General Discussion
According to TowersStreet, Submission had both arms running at some point today. Good to see work going into other parts of X-Sector, this area of the park should be looking very good when The Smiler opens.

Scorpion Express
I didn't know they were retheming Runaway Train to Th13teen

Future Of Chessington
I'm surprised Chessington don't have a Rapids ride. Maybe it's something that they could look at in the future as if executed well would fit perfectly with their target market.

Comedy Nights - New for 2013
Quite similar to the rock bands Thorpe had for Swarm opening. They had quite a few smaller bands that nobody had heard of. But one of the bands 'Attention Thieves', have gone on to perform at Reading festival, supported Enter Shikari on tour and have featured in Kerrang's top 10 bands to look out for in 2013 since their small gig at Thorpe!

Samurai
A while ago when I was at the park someone hit their foot on one of the tree's when riding Samurai, they seemed to be in a lot of pain. I have no idea whether this has anything to do with the removal of the trees but it's something to consider.
