  1. Townie is a shortened version of town-oriented civilian. In such difficult times, time is OF THE ESSENCE. Creating short cuts is A NECESSARY EVIL. MISTRUST CAUSES PROBLEMS. DESPITE BEING OUT OF THE FACILITY OF THE NEMESIS EGG, PLEASE ASK ANY QUESTIONS BEFORE JUMPING TO CONCLUSIONS.
  2. Definitely not! I see no reason to doubt Tommy given he has given no indication that he is part of the SCUMMY MAFIA! Whilst his lack of incriminating evidence could be incriminating in itself, the Phalanx has taught me to not speculate things so loosely... Please, fellow townie, I urge you to stick with me and the rest of us, and help defeat the mafia WHO WANT ME, YOU AND THE REST OF US DEAD!
  3. Tommy is being unfairly targeted you SILLY PEOPLE! I notice that after my recent fact post, J.S217 has avoided defending himself and has been rather vague... BE VIGILANTE FELLOW CIVILIANS! BE VIGILANTE AND STAY ALERT!
  4. Promo posters are appearing on park now: (From TPM's Twitter) Love the Endless Screams one
  5. In my experience, Fright Nights usually just gets busier as time goes on, so I'd expect the first weekend to be quieter than the second. Of course, things like weather, word of mouth, what day you go on, etc. all effect how busy it'll be - so it's pretty difficult to even guestimate how busy it'll be for Fright Nights.

    Logger's Leap

But how well guests collect their bags given they exit on the other side? Not practical for a bag room like on Swarm, Saw, Stealth and bit enough room for a bag drop like on Tidal Wave, etc.
  7. Installing an upcharge ride just wouldn't happen. There would be uproar and given the pricing structure, the uproar would be justifiable in my eyes. Installing an upcharge attraction, like a Waverider, or perhaps even a show/maze, could well happen (since it has!). Can't see too many though; the odd couple at most.
  8. My favourite singer is Alpengeist. Totally not fishing for a like. ;-)
  9. Alright you filthy maggots, SHUT UP AND LOOK AT YOUR SCREEN. Two innocent civilians have died because of the Mafia scum. If we want to flush out these people if we want to survive our trip through the fifth dimension. WE ONLY SHOULD FOCUS ON THE FACTS. FACT: Cornflakes voted to lynch JamminGamer in Day 1. He then died during the night. FACT: J.S217 seemed very keen to vote during the Night; specifically voting for kinnaird. During my training to become a Phalanx Operative, we were taught to be SUSPICIOUS of those who change their mind a lot. Fellow TOWN-ORIENTED CIVILIANS, watch over those who change their minds... We should follow Turtle's advice, since he KNOWS WHAT IS GOING ON, and discuss things - please, fellow civilians, CLEAN YOUR RUDDY EARS OUT AND LISTEN.
  10. Nah, Thursday in previous years (not sure about 2012 though to be fair). Given there's only 1000 VIP holders max, and that all of them might not be available / interested, I don't think it'll be that bad for preview night. Them getting unlimited maze Fastrack probably won't be *that* big a deal; though I guess we'll have to wait and see with that one! For those worried about queues: in previous years - definitely up until 2011 at least - the free night for Annual Pass holders was actually open to all guests; it was simply a case that it was treated as a preview night for everyone. Those preview nights were always really quiet (literally walk ons for the mazes). Making this a pre-book event might make it a bit more popular, since people love the exclusive feel, but I expect queues will be more than manageable, and it won't be as busy as last season's preview event.
  11. I notice that Cornflakes was the only player to vote for JG to be lynched in Day 1, and now JG is dead... Perhaps worth keeping an eye on him / investigating him!
  12. I hear they have a burning desire to do that!
  13. I'd assume they're in a group, and that there would be a limited number of tickets available per day. However, given that this probably appeals to a minority of people, the groups could be very small, or you may be able to do it be yourself.
  14. Perhaps, fellow town-orientated civilian, I've been waiting for the right time. However, I think that this time is now. All of you, I require you to SHUT UP, STAND UP STRAIGHT AND LOOK AT ME LISTEN UP, WE'VE ALL BEEN TRANSPORTED TO THIS MYSTERIOUS DIMENSION AND NONE OF YOU PATHETIC MAGGOTS KNOW HOW WE GOT HERE Now, we must find the SCUMMY MAFIA FOLK that have murdered Mickey Mouse Xenophobia, however, should not be how we point the finger... Okay, I hear that the mafia are plotting against us town-orientated civilians. PLOTTING. TO KILL US ALL. EVERY DAY, THEY WILL KILL ONE OF US GOOD FOLK Really, do we want that to happen? ABSOLUTELY NOT! Trust me, fellow civilians, if we work together, we will prevail Instant success will not happen; YOU HEAR ME, WILL NOT HAPPEN Very difficult times lie ahead for us. Be wary of everyone. EXACTLY AS DETECTIVE C. HAS PROVEN, GOOD MEN WILL DIE So, civilians, let us join together. TO ERADICATE THE EVIL, EVIL MAFIA Even I do not know why we are here Even I have lost my current mission in hand LET'S FORGET ABOUT THE PAST THOUGH, AND FOCUS ON THE PRESENT AND FUTURE EVERY MAFIA MEMBER WILL FALL, and I will do by BEST to protect all town-oriented civilians.
  15. Given how apparently hit and miss experiences on Smiler can be (though always miss for me), backwards rows would be murderous. At least with Swarm, the ride is smooth, meaning facing backwards doesn't cause any major issues, even if it makes some feel queasy.

    Scarefest

This year's Scarefest line up isn't enticing me a lot. -The Sanctuary: brilliant maze, yes, and I love it. Glad it's returning. -Zombies: Fun scare zone path, but nothing particularly exciting. -TotT: Yawn. Left me unimpressed when I did it a couple of years ago; really needs a revamp in my eyes. And I don't think the whole 'It's their flagship attraction, it has to be kept' rubbish should be a reason. -Scary Tales: Yay, another scare zone. And what's more, the story sounds like it would have suited a maze environment better, Will keep my mind open about it, but it just doesn't entice me..
  17. Don't know whether I'm disappointed Jason didn't attempt to role play me or relieved. Now to go to the cover of darkness...
  18. I have a heart; hope wifey had a nice birthday. ##unvote ##vote Jason
  19. I haven't read any of the Gone series, so dunno how good or bad that'd be, but by the sounds of it, the roaming characters being created are all original and specifically designed for Thorpe.
  20. Taken from ScareTOUR's Facebook: Excited I am. Sounds absolutely incredible. They're truly pulling out all the stops here, and the park-wide theme sounds perfect. It's clear already that they've put tonnes of thought, effort and money into the event this year, and I'm really, really looking forward to it now. I know some may question why they're not making full use of the Lionsgate IPs, but given what we're getting, I'm not really complaining!
  21. I do apologise Tommy. It was just a test of your town-alignment; promise! ##unvote ##vote pluk
  22. I still don't trust you Tommy though I'm afraid. In fact, I wheeeeeeeee-lly don't trust.
