Lots of updates through theme parkguide https://live.themeparkguide.biz A shame the same can't be said for the queue. Shocking! Not painted (although I'm sure it will eventually), half the tiles are clean or new with the rest rotten and the floor all eneven. The chicken place looks nicely done, but I'm sure it's the same food as before, the artwork just makes it look nicer.

Yes, but its. Still a valid point! That gravel end of the car park has remained the same for a few decades, bar taking out the wooden dividers! Actually they did refurbish the tarmaced section last year!

There is a thread for them. Further down the main page go through this order and you'll find them all and all the details. 1. Planned trips and reports 2. TPM official meets 3. TPM 2019 meets Or click below https://forum.maniahub.com/forum/137-tpm-2019-meets/

In terms of smaller meets, people usually organise outside of the forum with their friendship groups. The best piece of advice is to just try and get yourself to a meet. I'm now leading on the trips but only first started coming two years ago. I too was nervous but once I arrived I felt like I knew everyone for a long time and was made to feel welcome. At the moment the trips have group sized that are smaller than they were a few years back so now is a good time to try it out. @EpicSmatty and @JoshuaA both attended for the first time at Christmas. Could you both kindly let @profburp know how easy you settled in Any questions PM me!

Well OK maybe it wasn't originally where it is now, but still not Monks Walk.
-
? Think you made a typo above! It's the Daily Fail!
-
It wasn't. It was a PR stunt to gain interest.
-
It's always been there and open whenever I have visited. I'm sure that on many of my visits it's been the only one open.

Coca Cola Zero Raspberry! Diet Coke Strawberry! mmmmmm The Raspberry currently only sold in Asda I believe and the Strawberry Tesco.
-
I have heard its going to use the same setup and technology as DBGT. They visited Thorpe and were so impressed they wanted something similar. Only difference is it will be themed to rabbits instead.

TBH i'd get bored if I used fastrack all the time!

Interesting it refers to creating new experiences for families. "Sadly in recent years, the ride lost some of its magic and we feel now is the time to bid farewell to the Logs and look ahead at how we continue to create new and exciting experiences for families in the future." Families one minute, thrill seekers the next. Maybe the next new development will be that Wacky Worm or a smaller scale coaster/ride, far from the RMC, thrilling GCI or Hyper everyone wants so much.

Goes to show how different things could have been. A true shame.

Mattgwise replied to Mattgwise's topic in TPM 2019 Meets
Great! Are you feeling optimistic about Ghost Train? ? -
Already looking fantastic. Me thinks we have the 2020 international meet sorted ?
-
Exactly my thoughts Mer. That new roof colour scheme reminds me of the horrendous sponsor by Original Source!

The TPW vlog is quite positive about the day, but does mention some reliability issues in the afternoon.

TPM Blackpool Weekend Fri 5th April - Sun 7th April 19
Mattgwise replied to Mattgwise's topic in TPM 2019 Meets
Myself and Tom (Mr Fish) have just booked our rooms at The Big Blue Hotel, so will be based there. At the time of writing direct through the Big Blue hotel is cheapest. If you sign up it significantly reduces the rate. (See images below) It's £151 B&B for the two nights Fri 5th to Sun 7th for a single room for one or £171 for two people in a double or twin (£85.50 each if sharing). Also includes parking and wifi. Travelodge was £168 this morning but has dropped to £155 at the time of looking as i write this post. But that excludes Wifi, parking and breakfast. -
Here is that documentary. Almost 20 years ago it aired! I still remember watching it like it was only a few years ago! Damn I'm nearly 30!!!
-
And parking! What with the disgustingly high price it is at Thorpe now.
