Refurbished back to its original colour scheme it seems. Wonder if it's old quirky soundtrack will return? Images screenshot from Jack Silkstones Monks walk update here.

Some interesting choices. Once again feels like confusing messages about what direction they want to go. Theres more insight into everything new/updated/changed from Jack's annual behind scenes video. Interesting that they've shyed away from Rumba Rapids and it's mostly reverted paint job/refurb.

No one knows. Try to stop worrying about it and wait until the park say something OR March 25th you can visit the park, see for yourself and then tell all of us the final outcome.

That isn't Timber Tug Boat. The ride going there is from Dreamland, Margate.

Yes I remember that being the case. But it's been able to sit there red and yellow for a ridiculously long time since it was put up with no issue. That's what is a bit daft.
-
This is what is daft. If they had no money scrap the repaint. It looks better in its slightly faded red with yellow than that horrid new grey and black.
-
It's better than nothing 😂

Yep, consultation period over and now they review until end of Feb. I'd expect to hear something application wise between late March and start of May.

Whilst Phantasialand has some outstanding attractions and areas (Taron, Chiapas and likely Fly/Rookburgh) I simply cannot place it above Europa Park. The park is tiny, always feels congested and just doesn't have enough to do as a resort. I'd say this park is fairly overhyped by many enthusiasts. Don't get me wrong it is great still and I'd continue to visit every few years, but if I had a choice of where to go out of Phantasialand and Europa, I'd pick Europa. Europa Park is a complete resort and has such a variety of things to do and whilst the Coasters may not be as good as the likes of Taron they are still incredibly good fun with the likes of Wodan, Silver Star, Blue Fire etc. The fact you can find something new in every corner and can just feel relaxed walking around or hopping on a transport ride (or 3)for hours on end makes it far superior. Then there's the other aspects of the resort from the incredible Rulantica, hotels to explore and Silver Lake Saloon

So we all know that EnergyLandia like to expand and we all knew that they were getting the Sweet Valley area for 2022. They only go and surprise everyone even further revealing in their 2022 brochure the following two new additions. 1. A 16 slide tower for the waterpark (looks to be 8 slides duplicated symmetrically) 2. A huge new big wheel of 54m in height. Let's not forget that they plan to build huge hotels and a full indoor waterpark complex in the next few years too. Crazy! Link to brochure. Only the polish version has been updated... https://energylandia.pl/cennik/grupy-i-firmy/

The 'Definitely 100% Totally Going to Happen' London Resort
Mattgwise replied to Liam T's topic in UK Attractions
The concept images seem to change every few months. I wouldn't waste time speculating any of the types until when (if) the resort actually starts construction. -
Treasure Island was halfway between Thorpe Farm and the park, virtually a little west of where the vacant island next to Swarm is. Thorpe Farm was nowhere near Canada Creek/Old Town. The railway was shortened to just a loop when the farm shut. See image below and watch the attached video. At 2:31 you can see the interchange for the Treasure Island Railway. Waterbuses used to also run from Model Village (next to where Sunken Garden is now over to the jetty you can see just east of my Thorpe Farm label.

When they build some more thrilling attractions that I might enjoy perhaps. Until then not a priority for me sadly, though I do understand why those who love dark rides would love the place.

Small coaster I'd have said Wild Mouse at BPB prior to it getting knocked down, that thing used to chuck you about left, right, up and down and covered a very small area. Certainly my favourite coaster in the UK when it was about. Now I'd probably go with Backlot Stunt Coaster at King's Island. I was expecting a naff kids coaster as it looked small and didn't take up huge amount of space , but what happened was I massively greyed out more than any other intense coaster I'd ever down literally after the naff launch and into the helixes. You want intense helixes then this thing will tick all the boxes. I Coasters that are disappointing for their size? Would have to go with diamondback. The thing looked incredible and was expecting it to be on par with Shambhala but instead was probably the most disapointing large coaster I'd ever been on. Or Mystic Timbers. Again was expecting something great having been on Wodan and Wickerman which I both enjoyed. But nope just lacked any umph. Though seems I'm in a minority with that.

Whilst I have a TV licence it is only for the odd few programmes I watch on BBC Iplayer (rarely watch as they air). However these days with so many streaming services I often question whether it's worth having. I'd definitely say traditional TV is dying.

Agreed. I was disappointed when I saw it, but take away the short ride time, I think this will pack a punch and feel out of control! Looking forward to it being built and following construction, before being able to ride it. Still believe it could be a UK favourite for many.

Thorpe have released a video on socials as well confirming it is in the works, as well as announcing aloud the closure of the flats or a potential relocation. My bet is the beach by Wet Wet Wet/Containment for Timber Tug Boat and Lumber Jump. One thing for certain is there are very exciting times ahead* *Pending planning permission approval

Seems like things will leak Thursday following two live in person events... Found on Theme Attractions on Twitter

Some very rare close up footage of how awesome the scenery and animatronics was in the true Bubbleworks ride, Professor Burps Bubbleworks. Those of you who thought Imperial Leather Bubbleworks was amazing didn't have a clue 😄 14:03 onwards

Glad you had a good day. Funny how the older rides have more scope to run in those conditions. You'd think the most modern of coasters would have been more carefully designed and those actually be the ones to work better in extreme weather conditions.
