For those people saying "What would Universal do?" with this IP, look up their Saw 2010 horror maze. I really don't like the ride at all. It was a really peculiar horror IP to pick as well because I struggle to imagine an immersive ride themed around torture which wouldn't be offensive. UV painted axes isnt the same as the movie material.

Yeah mixed feelings on Season 2. It started off so well but there were just too many crazy plotlines for 13 episodes. I want some voodoo in Season 3.

I wouldn't consider it poor when the park already has plenty of water rides and I don't see who loses if you use a variable system like Jurassic Park rather than popularity completely dropping off when it's colder.

Water coaster: No, unless water levels can be easily varied for colder times. Rollersoaker: Even ignoring all other problems, capacity alone would mean it could never work at Thorpe. Hence why 2 were ever built and the Hershey one at least is gone.

Come on Thorpe, you know everyone wants this ride. 4 water rides is plenty in our climate. They could all do with some TLC though.

If backwards Swarm is successful, I can see the back row of Oblivion reversing. Sort of want.

I really don't think that front row queue area is big enough if this gets hyped up. The front row queue by the end of the season was a mess anyway and staff really didn't care if you had the card.. I kind of expect forward X now just for a full circle of random. Ride experience wise, Euro Mir is disgusting if you are backwards on the last row for the end section but the helices are exceptionally tight there.

This is how I am imagining The Swarm staff to be after the first Saturday of the season. A new ride experience with less than a third of the capacity available and no changes to X?

Luckily no spoilers on this page. I just want to say that Oblivion and Nemesis would have sounded just as ridiculous when they first came out. On top of that Towers doesn't need another Nemesis or Oblivion, they need something for 2013 and with the recent push back to surveillance state in the media and in general with the internet this works really well. I want theme parks to be pushing boundaries, not staying in comfort zones which I would definitely count monster names and abstract words.

The way they are handling this is really boring. Even the Facebook comments aren't entertaining this time around.

There was a rumor of backwards Batman a few months back but I wasn't really sure on the legitimacy because it just seems like a rather nasty ride experience. The other part of the rumor was that this was Six Flags mucking around with the trains rather than getting B&M in.
