It could easily fill up the trains... Fortunately they were loading the entire thing upon my return to the station... There's 7 actors in HPH...

This is what happens when you give Northerners things too advanced for them to comprehend...

Soooooo this started today... The park, lacked surprisingly on the theming front, aside from a far amount of pumpkins, it was nowhere near the standard of previous years... A disappointing start really... It was pretty quiet today, although why Vampire now thinks that loading 6 rows first thing on a Saturday because it's (and I quote) "Too quiet to load the entire train" is beyond me... Every time I go that ride gets worse... One positive for the park is of course, their two mazes... We were the first load into Haunting in the Hollows, and I don't think any of us had done it before... It was quite good, and far superior to Blair Witch Project in the finale section... It fits Chessie's audience right down to the tee actually, with the mix of hammer horror (the BOOBS on the girl working on it), obvious scares and a potentially scarring experience in the end portion for the younger ones... I was impressed... Hocus Pocus Hall was next, and we were heavily anticipating this one with all the positivity surrounding it... And the change is amazingly drastic to the look of the various rooms and what-not... There were some flaws however, as the spaces available were too small for the group, potential rejigs should be considered for that... The new theming was pretty good though with the brand new pre-show of actually decent effects... I would like to think that positive feedback on the attraction will make Chessie try and make it into a permanent style attraction in a similar fashion to HPH, just, better and with more effects around the place... Overall, the two mazes were good, the park itself was disappointing... Can't rate the lighting since we left early and the park wouldn't have had them on anyways... Ah wells... Towers next week, then some European attempts to finish off my Halloween trips...

The Smiler
Nah, course Saw hasn't had the same level of issue, but I'm referring to the infamous sinking support at the base of the main drop which is still a killer... The work on Smiler is because the entire SITE is like that... Because they clearly hired idiots...

The Smiler
I don't think many rides have a really badly done ground survey though... Really, Saw should've flagged stuff with weak ground shifting and causing the ride some problems... But for some reason, it didn't...

It's the same story though :/- CBeebies Land
See also, Peppa Pig World for an immersive IP experience...- Fright Nights 2013
Not when it's available for free And not allowed to mention the experience? That's not exactly a great form of advertising is it? Bit daft from Thorpe not to really use the word of mouth detail beyond people saying "it's good", considering how some are stating BWP is 'good'...- Cinecittà World
I just hope they learnt from Rainbow Magicland's mistakes and build the theming very cheaply... Or suffer from budget cuts...- CBeebies Land
Shaun the Sheep is the first one that pops into my head... I have a feeling the rights to what they can use will be set by Auntie Beeb, plus I'm sure a lot of their 'proper' live action shows will be the choice of theme for the shows/activities...- Walt Disney World Resort
If they wanted to use a film that fitted the themes of the park in general, why not use Pocahuntas? Be a hell of a lot cheaper... Then again, the only reason they went to Avatar was down to Universal getting Potterland... But as Avatar lacks the substance and character (Cars is a terrible Pixar film, but it still does have those qualities around it, making it better than most) beyond it's visuals, I am severely non-plussed about it...- Chessington General Discussion
During term time week when the majority of it's target market can't visit? Course it's empty... Just cannot handle anymore than 15k in the park, which is really bad... It needs higher throughput rides replacing the crap ones first and foremost...- CBeebies Land
Confirmed as CBeebies Land... http://www.blooloop.com/news/merlin-entertainments-and-bbc-to-create-cbeebies-l/24979#.Ul0C7VMwJLq Interesting to see how this competes with the likes of Thomas and Nick Land...- Zufari
Yet rides like Jungle Cruise, the Safaris and pre-destruction Jaws were all loved because of the available improv to the ride hosts... Even Tower of Terror has a fantastic array of experiences available to guests throughout the ride... Terminator 2 as well can be added to the list... There's a set dialogue blurb of course, but then the host can do what they want with it... Considering Zufari's dialogue is A - Crap (the Rhino dung and warning signs sections), B - Makes no sense as you never meet Chase in the pre-show now (Not that it did in the first place) and C - Dependant on the animals being out, it's not a very good experience in the first hand... In fact, the attraction itself is inconsistent due to the animals and their behaviour... Having a driver be in charge of the dialogue would improve things a lot more, because of being able to adapt to the whole thing as it changes on a constant basis... It's extremely boring and confusing to have silence because there's an animal in the way and you can't see it, or that the traffic lights are red and you're still sat in silence... So basically, long story short, improv would be an improvement... Unless they think that means more Gotzee, it which case, it should go away...- Chessington General Discussion
To be fair, the road has slightly improved since the addition of the traffic lights outside the main entrance car park... Problem is, the road is busy due to rush hour as it's the major road in and out of Chessington towards either the A3 or the M25... Unless there is a way of turning into a dual carriageway (very unlikely) nothing can be done by the park or indeed the council to manage the traffic better... Of course, if the park could convince SouthWest Trains to increase the number of services to the park, that could go a step towards it... Won't happen though... Chessington do not have the power over the NIMBYs... No one does...- Chessington Howl'o'ween
It won't have to do much let's be honest considering the lack of expectation that Chessie have given us this year... Although it'll probably be the same recycling theming every year on park, the only hope really lies with HPH's redo... And of course, the park will still have it's other problems...- Theme Park and Rollercoaster Simulation Games
Depends if that's the actual charge for it though in pounds though... Certainly looks high end, wonder what it looks like on a typical laptop/desktop without all the high grade stuff on it? Always the issue with PC games (both exclusive and multi-platform) these days is that all the imagery is taken off this wonderful expensive things that few people actually own... What they NEED to have on NL, is a simplified introduction and simple mode if you will, where it does a lot of the nitty gritty for you when designing on it (banking/supports/etc)... It's what never got me into the thing fully in the first place...- Scarefest
Throughout the park now of course meaning a central point nowhere near half of the park?- The Zoo
Not even Bubbles, HPH or Seastorm? Considering it's likely half the zoo will still be shut, the Zoo Days will seem rather pointless...- Theme Park and Rollercoaster Simulation Games
$45? Nope...- Fright Nights 2013
Blair Witch I'm guessing will only open when it's properly dark, which is good for it because then you can't see the actors/other guests in front of you... Otherwise it would be REALLY pointless... - Walt Disney World Resort
