The Walking Dead: The Ride - Speculation and 'Construction'
Funny thing is that's not even concept art, that's an actual picture of Thorpe...

After all that effort in reducing the height restriction too The short termism thing for parks is never good...

Liseberg
Allows them to do more things differently I guess, what with them originally coming in on Flying Coasters... Namely those long drawn out inlines seen on this and Banshee... Swarm seems to be the worst for tightening, I don't recall anything like that on Raptor (Flug was just bouncing around too much to notice anything else)... I honestly cannot remember Oblivio having them or not...

Pfft, those restraints are fine...

I don't think parks should really be wanting articles in the Daily Mail tbh...

Wardley changed the entire profile of the first drop and would've changed more if he could (TT Q&A) Why aren't we allowed to be constructively critical of this? I believe they couldn't have build down into the woodland where half of flume was, which is a real shame... But given that this was a very last minute ride choice due to Smiler creating all the problems in the world, what else do we expect? Problem now there's seem to be some sudden hype because a few people who've ridden it are unsurprisingly being overwhelmingly positive over it... Which has always happened...

Wonder where I've seen that thought before? I literally saw nothing from the trials, but could be interesting to see how it goes on Symbolica...

Blackpool Pleasure Beach
I pondered the idea today of getting RMC to use their new Raptor track to make a modern day Wild Mouse coaster... An underbanked turn by the Ghost Train building would be incredible...

Movie Park Germany
Tis just the theme being spited, not the ride itself... Mystery River in of itself was a hasty retheme when they lost the Neverending Story licence...

I like how we keep saying this as if it's actually quite a difficult feat for parks to actually do... Hell if Drayton had built Alpina Blitz it would've wiped the floor with 70% of all UK coasters...

Wicker Man
There are rumours of 3 trains, but it'll only hit around 1000pph (which is still decent enough tbh)... If it runs like Wodan (at least, until Fastrack exists) and the pre-shows are insanely faffy then the queue should move pretty constantly... But then Fastrack and pre-show will mean that this is not the case...

Blackpool Pleasure Beach
I doubt we'll see much scenery/theming around the ride beyond the station/pond area... Theming is not really what you go to Blackpool for...

Wicker Man
Shame it'll never look like that because (delete where appropriate) be only open at night for a week/the smoke will have run out by April/the fire doesn't work/the theming element has fallen apart/the park is closed due to cuts... It does look good though, but I'm awaiting to see the response after it's bedded in to see the true reactions to it (I seem to recall anything new is the best ride ever on most accounts, especially given the number of vlogs/blogs/FB groups these days)...

Movie Park Germany
How to say farewell to a classic fan favourite attraction... Apparently the fan club were also allowed to take home the ride's signage...

It'll be awkward when people realise that the one airtime hill does more airtime related things than Taron does in the whole course...

Disneyland Paris
Confirmed as not being a thing... Plus Paris does have some originality in a fair amount of their attractions, it's more a Disney overall trait than Paris itself (where else can you find one park with 4 (FOUR!) Flying Jumbo rides?). Florida is stealing Ratatouille so I guess they should be more original Regarding Tower, I've heard it's something to do with the contract for Twilight Zone ending, which would explain the quick turnaround of the California version... But after the reaction to GotG Disney aren't too sure on retheming the other two Twilight Zone towers to it... If that's the case, there's only one option for these two:

Top 10's
They do the maths? No thanks, it was already a very biased poll in the first place... Alvey being in control of the results is only going to result in further bias...

Yeah, but they're getting rid of the soundtrack which makes me sad

The Walking Dead: The Ride - Speculation and 'Construction'
Yeah but it's not about the pass spend, it's the net spend when they go to the park with mates... Buy lunch and little else I bet...

The Walking Dead: The Ride - Speculation and 'Construction'
What point? Just because I had an annual pass at 14/15, who do you think actually spent the money on it?
