    Nemesis

Managed 22 rides on Nemesis yesterday using the Single Rider Queue! (Got on a lot more as well as just Nemesis!)
  2. Think about it though. People with annual passes who aren't interested in Fright Nights are pretty much blocked out of the park for a month. Would you want to pay £10 for an event that you aren't taking part in? (Not speaking from my point of view. I absoloutely love Fright Nights but £10 is far too much).

    Rush

I often try to leave a small bit of space on restraints for airtime, but wouldn't think of making it unsafe. With that said, I pull them down as far as possible on Rush and Slammer!
  4. The trouble is, I visit with friends who won't know when they are able to visit exactly until way past 1st October! Also, I doubt they will be prepared to pay £10, I know I'm not! Sod them, they won't be getting my custom.
  5. WHAT?! £10? That is absoloutely ridiculous, I thought £5 was bad but that is just money grabbing! An ANNUAL PASS is an ANNUAL PASS. I disagree with any sort of charge but £5 was just about reasonable.
  6. The projection mapping and exit corridor were both broken on Wednesday and Friday, but oddly they were working on Thursday...
  7. Unfortunately I am unable to attend this meet. Have fun at my favourite park everyone!
  8. It has quite a lot in my opinion. Lots on the Marmaliser, inside projection mapping, nice runway of lights before the first lifthill. All it's missing is the small touches. Posters in the station, and maybe a few theming elements to the side or under the track that you might get a glimpse of as you go round. An idea I had was dummies of people smiling dotted around the layout at ground level across the ride (as it dives down to the ground quite a lot).
  9. Oh no! What other rides at Brean are being sold?
  10. Richard Cadell (owner of Fun City, Brean) has sold the park. Full article: http://www.burnham-on-sea.com/news/2014/brean-fun-park-owner-13-08-14.php
  11. Err, what? Kingda Ka is the world's tallest roller coaster, whereas drop towers can be found everywhere (admittedly not as tall), so I don't think that it should get priority over a coaster of such a high stature (or any coaster for that matter).
  12. In that case, why are sections of the volcano green?
  13. I highly doubt it, and I doubt they would considering Valhalla's ridiculously high running cost
  14. So their huge, world beating, icon coaster is being held up by a gimmicky drop tower? Just beyond stupid...
  15. Arrow Dynamics. Don't really mind though, as long as the ride is good!
  16. Huge indoor water ride like Valhalla please. Just saying...
  17. For it to be maintained, kept in an acceptable condition and not rotting.
  18. 3 hours?!!! Something has got to be wrong with the way the park is being run if the main queue is reaching the 3 hour mark.
  19. Well received by people using it, yes. But what about everyone else in the park? Not everyone comes to a theme park expecting to have some complicated system thrown at them just to get on rides (admittedly it isn't that complicated, but not everyone knows that) and further to this, imagine paying for fastrack only to find that people are using the same entrance for free! Also, that wasn't the point I was making. I was saying that I think that operations have been overlooked as a result of investing far too much time into this system, which wouldn't be needed if the park was run properly anyway!
  20. They really need to focus on queueline audio all round this year, as last year no maze apart from the Asylum had any sort of music playing in the queue, which is a shame as it creates a really tense and exciting atmosphere.
  21. Based off recent reports, I think that Thorpe should stop wasting their time with reserve and ride and start focusing on actually running the park in an acceptable way, as from what I've heard it's coped with crowds awfully this summer. I can't say I've been impressed with their overall operations this year either, although I haven't visited this summer (yet).
  22. Perfect Day was playing park wide but Asylum still had its fantastic theme music.
  23. Agreed, that music has to stay!
  24. That's the way companies should make money! Doesn't have a negative impact on anyone, and is actually a benefit to a lot of people.
