Blackpool Pleasure Beach
I have also seen lots of online adverts, which is good. Also, the way they manage social media channels has improved 100% this season, with replies to almost everyone. They have three new TV adverts this year but I haven't seen any on television (but I don't live that close to BPB unfortunately!)

Fright Nights 2014
I will be very disappointed if they remove my favourite maze and don't even replace it!

New For 2015?
Where exactly have you heard this?

Blackpool Pleasure Beach
I really enjoyed Shockwave and G Force, and I don't see what the problem with them is. No they aren't the absoloute best but they are both unique and great fun! Shockwave ran a two train service with minimal queues the whole day (10am - 9pm), but G Force was only on one train (they need another one!) I did visit on the fireworks night though so maybe they put more effort in? Whoops, going very off topic now! I disagree, I prefer BPB's rides to the ones at Merlin parks. I agree about the appearance though.

Blackpool Pleasure Beach
I don't know what all the negativity around Drayton is about - I really enjoyed my first visit last year.

Summer Nights
How many trains were running on the coasters?

Stealth
I worded it wrong, I meant to say more than once.As for the Dodgems, if they haven't closed then would you care to explain to me why we were turned away by staff saying "sorry, it's closed" whilst they were looking at the cars?

Stealth
A couple of days? It should be almost every day!

Next Big Thing - 2016 Development ?
^ To be honest Valhalla is proof that a dark ride doesn't need to cost £50 million to be amazing! I would not be against an investment of £15 - 20 million on a dark ride if it was really good, and preferably with a bit of a ride thrown in as well.

Stealth
Really? Stealth closed more often than not, Samurai down on two separate occasions, Slammer, Quantum being closed a lot, Zodiac being closed a lot, Tidal Wave closed for a whole day (on one of the hottest days of the year!), also broken down for half a day on a different day, downtime on Rush, one arm operation on Rush, Dodgems closed, Tea Cups closed, breakdown on Rumba, Detonator closed, several breakdowns and evacuations from Storm Surge... Not all in one day, obviously! How bad have the other years been?

Next Big Thing - 2016 Development ?
Agreed, also I don't think Merlin would be prepared to run a ride with a running cost as ridiculous as Valhalla

Next Big Thing - 2016 Development ?
A dark ride like Valhalla please Thorpe!
- Slammer

Stealth
I reckon Thorpe saved money on maintenence this year (possibly because of Slammer?) As rides seem to be having quite a lot of downtime compared to the past few years.

Ah, not so jealous then. I remember the good old days where the whole queue would go "oooooooo..." every time the train nearly rolled back!

SAW: The Ride
Speed is a brilliant coaster. Much better than Saw.
-
Stealth
Very jealous! Still haven't had a rollback

SAW: The Ride
I disagree. Take The Ultimate at Lightwater Valley; if that was smooth it wouldn't be intense, but it's one of the most intense coasters I have ridden. It also gives The Smiler a bit of life IMO, makes it more fun.

Family Inverted B&M Happy Valley Shanghai
Considering that Vampire is a family coaster (and opened over 20 years ago), I think this looks like a disappointment.
-
SAW: The Ride
The jolt on Saw sometimes gets me but I actually like the jolts on The Smiler!

SAW: The Ride
I disagree, I enjoy it because of the sheer intensity of having so many inversions thrown at you. Also I find it quite forceful and the two airtime hills are brilliant!
