Coaster

Now that Thorpe are, to some extent, reverting back to a family theme (as well as thrillseekers), I think that maybe it's time to bring back the entrance music and end of the day theme. The Noise could still play across the park in areas which would otherwise be silent, but the return of both of those themes would be fantastic for families and would cost the park nothing!

I like these concepts. If the Waterfront Hotel turns out to look like one of these (rather than just the Crash Pad with a different colour) then I'll be impressed (and maybe consider staying there in the future). To be honest, whilst the shark idea is good, I don't think it would fit as one of the first things that guests see as they enter the park. Where are those concept art pictures coming from? (As in where have Thorpe posted them?)

Ah cool, I have seen some inside pictures and I think it's amazing how different it looks in the light. I have heard that some internal work is planned this year.

I hope it keeps the same name, to be honest I don't think it needs tampering with.

I doubt anyone apart from Thorpe themselves will ever call it Thorpe Park Resort (well I hope not anyway!)

For a UK queueline, it is one of the best themed. The shotguns are very good, and the staircase has TV's which are better than nothing. I agree that it could be a lot better, but it's one of the best in the country IMO. It's certainly more interesting than waiting outside the door with nothing going on.

Saw's indoor queueline is one of the strongest aspects of the ride in my opinion, and I think it's a real shame that you are no longer allowed to queue there. Regarding audio, let's hope they actually bother to fix the outside queueline speakers this year!

Yeah, it worked so well that they have removed "resort" from most of their social media channels/website etc. I honestly don't think that this is a good move for Thorpe.

Thorpe Park Resort does not sound right at all, it really doesn't suit the name or park at all. What a silly move!

Angry birds... Meh Sounds like they are going to ruin Detonator. Still, good to see them investing for families.

None I have broken down a few times though. What's it like/where have you been evacuated from? Do you see a lot of the behind the scenes stuff?
