Merlin Entertainments
In the eyes of what most customers get, they have lied. I'm not interested in how they have officially "twisted" it, to customers they have lied. It's misleading, underhand and not acceptable.

Merlin Entertainments
Awful move, I am not at all impressed by this. Having bought passes in the sales, we were mislead and they have obviously released these details just after the sale has ended so that it wouldn't affect sales! It's almost lying, telling customers they are going to get something whilst they buy the passes, then changing it behind their backs whilst they are doing so! As well as this, I've noticed that perks have become stricter, with the previous (20% off all food outlets and shops) now being (discounted food and beverages). This probably means that it'll be less than 10%, and no more discounted merchandise! As a loyal MAP holder I am disgusted by this, I didn't like Merlin as a company before but I've had enough now. On another (bad) note, prices for MAP's have now been increased, with a Standard now being £159 and a Premium being £199. Ridiculous.

Flooding
Thorpe posted on their FB page today that their AP building is open tomorrow, so there must still be some sort of viable access to the park.

London Dungeons
Thanks for the information. As long as I can find a train service running on Sunday I intend to make a full judgement. The old dungeons had a great atmosphere, and obviously the good location helped towards this, but they were a bit knackered in some places to be honest! Some scenes were also not very good, such as the great fire of London etc...

Flooding
Does anyone else think that Thorpe won't be able to open in five weeks? I know the park isn't flooded, but if nobody can get to it then I can't see any possible way of it opening.

Blackpool Pleasure Beach
Where's ma capital letters gone!

Stealth
I don't think that Grandstand would have been very good to be honest. The queueline it has now could look good with a bit of TLC.

Blackpool Pleasure Beach
BPB seems to be alright, judging from their latest Facebook post: Rumours that Pleasure Beach is closed this weekend are greatly exaggerated! It'll take more than a bit of wind do put us out of action! If you're stuck for stuff to do over the coming Half Term, we're open weekends until the end of March then it's all day, every day through until November. The rest of Blackpool however hasn't got off lightly.

Blackpool Pleasure Beach
WEATHER UPDATE: Blackpool has had 95 mph winds this evening (and higher gusts). No information about the Pleasure Beach is available yet, apart from the fact that they have evacuated security from the park and called in structural engineers. The Tower Complex's roof has been torn off (not the top of the tower, the complex with the dungeons and jungle jims). I will update on here as I hear more over the next few days. I fear for our woodies!

Heide Park
It'll probably be silenced before opening day, like The Swarm was

What was the grandstand going to be?

2014 Season
That's very good on Thorpe's part, it's nice to see them offering their help.

Stealth
Good move, and from the plans it looks avoidable which is also good.

SEA LIFE
No worries - it's worth a go if you are in the area, but I wouldn't travel there specifically for the aquarium.

SEA LIFE
I don't much like the London one, it's always packed full of people so you can't really see anyway and there's nothing that stands out about it.

Thorpe Park's Old Days
Thunder River's tunnel looked fantastic back then! Why remove that and leave the warehouse on show/have it in total darkness?
-
Blackpool Pleasure Beach
It's new, it's replaced embertons (the sandwich bar opposite the Grand National). It does look similar to the old speedy pass room though.

What Was The First Big Coaster You Went On In The UK
Thanks, I never knew that!I guess my first big coaster was the one at Funland before Klondike (Pinfari zyklon or something), I still miss that coaster.

London Dungeons
I will finally be visiting the new London Dungeons next weekend! I intend to write a full review on here.

Funland had a wild mouse? When was this?

Blackpool Pleasure Beach
Blackpool Pleasure Beach opened for the 2014 season today, and are open weekends throughout Feb! It would be nice to see other parks opening earlier in the year like this. It's not always that simple, grandparents take children to places, parents take children etc so this is a good option for people who don't want to ride.

What Was The First Big Coaster You Went On In The UK
Yes they do seem to be pinning the restraints more nowadays, which annoys me as I like the float/airtime!
