What Was The First Big Coaster You Went On In The UK
I think mine was Big Dipper at Blackpool Pleasure Beach at the age of 6, although it may have been Megafobia a year before that!
-
Angry Birds Land
Angry Birds has been popular for years - Flappy Bird won't last very long IMO.
-
Drayton Manor
Hmm, a small launch coaster could be good if done right. There's also a woodie rumour floating around at the moment, which I hope to be true.

Blackpool Pleasure Beach
Exactly, that's my point with the £6 ride pass. It's great that they offer this for situations similar to the one you have stated above, rather than charging full price for a non rider. In other news, the park now has a guest services centre which I think is brilliant. Also, it's very classy! https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10152183369127365&set=ms.10152183369127365.10152183369162365.10152183369167365.10152183369922365.10152183370092365.10152183370537365.10152183370902365.10152183371147365.10152183371532365.10152183371927365.10152183372157365.10152183372547365.10152183372757365.10152183373172365.10152183373367365.10152183373447365.10152183374282365.10152183374347365.10152183374337365.10152183374497365.10152183374627365.10152183375027365.10152183375137365.10152183375262365.10152183375547365.bps.a.10152183368222365.1073741865.88885897364&type=1&theater

Next Big Thing - 2016 Development ?
Maybe, but you don't really see it in detail and I've been on Ghost Trains (which a lot of children go on) with scarier things.
-
Next Big Thing - 2016 Development ?
I do think that Merlin put higher restrictions on their rides than is needed - for example Speed at Oakwood has a 1.27 height restriction, and Big One and Infusion at BPB are 1.32. Saw is probably only 1.4 due to the horror theme though (although to be honest apart from the guns there's nothing that would scare children in there really).

Alton Towers General Discussion
Towers's opening times are awful IMO, apart from Scarefest of course.

Next Big Thing - 2016 Development ?
Tall wooden coaster!

Blackpool Pleasure Beach
Agreed, the only way to get good value is to buy a wristband (which is amazing value btw), but that's how it should be to be honest. The charge of £6 for a non rider is also very reasonable in my opinion, considering that all other big parks charge full price but that's a different kettle of fish!
-
Blackpool Pleasure Beach
No problem, you can't fault the charge for one ride to be honest as no other parks offer this. It's very much an all day park, they are just offering this for people who visit at the last minute. I quite like having a wristband tbh, I keep them as a souvenir Two hours isn't long enough to fully experience the park really.

Blackpool Pleasure Beach
The cheapest option is the "Big 1 Ride Ticket," which allows you into the park and a ride on any one ride of your choice for £10. Sounds like a lot, but most parks don't offer anything like this.
-
Park Music
OMG that's the one! It's really unclear on the arcade games though, which is why it sounded like something different to me.
-
Chessington General Discussion
To be honest they don't need Toadies and Truckers - personally I'd rather they kept Toadies and refurbished it as it has a higher throughput.
-
Zufari
I wonder if Chessie have done any work on this over the closed season? Fixing the waterfall effects would be nice...
-
Submission
I think that the trick with it was to sit slightly further forward until the restraints had locked - therefore they wouldn't be quite as tight.
-
Submission
If Submission has been maintained properly then it would have been a much better ride to be honest. With that said, I didn't find it very painful at all, and whilst it wasn't a major thrill it was a filler attraction when the others in that area had a big queue. I'll miss it.
-
Park Music
There's one from the arcade games that I'm sure says "Nah I'm just..." Don't know what the end of the sentence is though.
-
Submission
I'm not at all happy about this. I really enjoyed Submission and X-Sector does not have enough supporting rides for The Smiler without it!
-
Legoland
For how long though? Personally I hope it stays, Burger Kitchen is awful! Calypso BBQ is the best outlet at Thorpe IMO.
