  1. There already were a few dead ends - the shower scene being one of them. I doubt that it will have changed much. Still, great to have it back! (imo) Can't wait for Fright Nights now EDIT: Is it me or do all of the maze descriptions sound like there will be less actors? "The asylum opens it's doors to new patients." - I thought that the theme was always that the actors were the patients? Also, later on it says "watch your back as you encounter dead ends, hidden corners and eyes that watch you from the shadows" Nothing mentions actors on the Asylum's description, in fact it seems to suggest that there won't be many.
  2. Can't make out that picture at all, but it just looks like a load of rubble.
  3. You did have to go in a conga line for the Krypt maze which appeared in 2011. I don't know why on earth they didn't bring that back, it was quite good!
  4. You're next is just roaming actors. I would expect that Asylum will remain the same as usual, but I could be wrong.
  5. Ok thanks I would imagine it being rather busy this year with it being a Friday...
  6. Am I right in thinking that last year's AP preview night was on a Thursday?
  7. It's not really an anti climax. Given that tonight's reveal was roaming actors, people won't be expecting much so the return of another horror maze will be a welcome surprise.
  8. It's been confirmed that You're Next is roaming actors http://www.thorpepark.com/frightnights/
  9. So we are going to have four mazes, (My Bloody Valentine, Cabin in the Woods, Saw Alive and The Asylum), a scare zone (Blair Witch Project) and roaming actors. Can't argue with that - as long as MBV and CITW are up to a very good standard.
  10. Nice update, thanks! I reckon that box in the middle of MBV's woodwork facade will be a place to sell sweets and stuff part way through the queue.
  11. Maybe, although when finished that exterior could be made to look like a mine.
  12. Wow! Great update And I think you would be alright posting that as it wasn't you who took the pictures. http://www.themeparkguide.biz/news-page/14th-september-2013-thorpe-park-fright-nights-update
  13. For the crawling section of MBV, I've had an idea. It would be really good if they could have you crawling through a tunnel with wire mesh above you, where Harry Warden (the gas mask guy) could "attack" you from above.
  14. ^ You're next could be a horror maze though.
  15. I thought it would be. Still, if done right it could be really good! On another note, I really hope they play this in the queueline for My Bloody Valentine.
  16. One thing I can't stand is people who consider things to be "rubbish" just because they don't like them! I quote from my mother: "I can't understand why people would pay to go in a maze and be scared by people dressed up! It's a load of rubbish." Some people...
  17. Don't go in it then. With four brand new mazes, you can't complain about them bringing back one of their old mazes (which was actually what started Fright Nights in the first place, but with a different name). Personally I am thrilled that they are bringing it back!
  18. Probably won't be too busy as everyone has been in the summer holidays, and people will be waiting for Fright Nights. Thorpe is very unpredictable however so don't quote me on that!
  19. Fair enough. I imagine that this will be a lot scarier than that though - as with Sub Terra the gas mask didn't cover the actor's whole face.
  20. Asylum is returning! *punches the air* YES! And also, that gas masked man chasing you through the maze will be brilliant!
  21. Why o why couldn't it have been like that? If it had been like that (with a covered station as shown in that picture) then it would have made all the difference. THORPE!
  22. According to Ridetimes, The Smiler is back open with a 60 minute queue.
