    Oh dear. My personal favourites.......
  2. The only event Charlie is perfect for is bonfire night, the glowing embers could keep me warm for hours.

  5. If I can get the day off work this will be my first meet.Any non AP holders to go 50/50 on a BOGOF?
  6. SRQs are a faff magnet, glad they've chosen to go without. If only they'd go without the Farce Track queue line too.
  7. I don't know about Merlin ones, but most assessment centre type things are just a big confidence trick. It's just a balancing act between and meek and overbearing, if you keep getting knocked back your probably coming across as being too far in one direction (and for most people it is in the meek direction, they want people who are a bit confident without coming across as an arrogant arse).I find it helps to remember confidence does not exist, it is not a tangible or measurable thing. You only have to think you have it and you have it.

Erm, I didn't say anything of the sort. The point I was making is MJ was making amazing, groundbreaking, original meaningful music so his film-like music vids sat well with them. I know all these things are personal opinion but for the most part GaGa is knocking out catchy little throw away pop songs that would better suit a standard pop vid. I find this pretentious because it is all art and no substance, it just means nothing and sits poorly next to the song itself. Not everyone has to be good looking, but then not everyone is shaking their junk in my face via a music video. Again, it's all personal opinion (Spears has looked like a rotten dirty scrubber for years, Florence is one of the most beautiful women in the world, Madonna was until she started trying to look like Skeletor), but the likes of Adele and Florence have a bit of class about them and let the music do the talking, they don't try to shove their 'unconventional' looks down my throat with overblown weird long porn pop promos.
  9. It may be to do with Saw, but there would be zero problem with anything staying other than Billy, the logo and the video.Yes there may be a guy on the floor in a bathroom in a Saw film, but it is too generic a scenario for Lionsgate to claim ownership of that scene.Yes there may be some swinging blades in a Saw film..................but it is too generic a scenario for Lionsgate to claim ownership of that scene.Yes there may be overhead guns in a Saw film............................ but it is too generic a scenario for Lionsgate to claim ownership of that scene.Yes there may be a man in barbed wire in a Saw film................... but it is too generic a scenario for Lionsgate to claim ownership of that scene.etc etc etc.A few grand to remove the signage, crappy puppet on a trike and make a generic video. Retheme done.Having said that it's probably in everyones interests if the brand stays, as long as the renewal is not as prohibitively expensive as it was in the first place (which should be the case as the franchise has died).
  10. Wild Eagle is go...... I didn't know eagles could roar. Wow.

  13. Fantastic pics.An amazing looking GCI woodie or Saw? Who the hell screwed up that choice and have they paid for their sins?Did they go into any detail into how and why that decision was made and if they would consider wood in the future?

I would much prefer it for the zoo and park to be integrated rather than split in two, just little things like the Lagoon are great but there could be some great ride/animal tie ins (Cheetah Hunt!). I suppose this can't happen because of greenbelt/planning restrictions and making zoo days impossible. Shame though. Why are there no snake enclosures or encounters at rattlesnake? This safari does look great, shame it only seems to include 3 animals - a lot of effort for what will be a small selection. Will the placement of this make it possible to expand into other enclosures in the future?

"Finale cave and water experience" sounds exciting, wonder what sort of thing they are thinking of? Don't want to start setting my expectations too high, but how about a rock cave based Earthquake type thing ala Universal?
  17. Well your quite an arty bunch - advice please.....I enjoy photography and mess around with my DSLR, but don't really know what I'm doing. Has any one read any photography books that they'd recommend? There seem to be hundreds of them out there and I just can't choose.I think I'm after something quite basic really, but squarely aimed at DSLR use and going into some depth of the cameras functions. I don't even know what half the settings on my camera do but just sometimes stumble across the results I want, I'd love to actually know where I've gone right and wrong.

  19. That zebra needs a fluffer.
  20. I did think it was all about the right, but being pulled under like that on the left rather than pushed over on the right is going to be a weird feeling, can't wait for a go on both. Going to be like two different rides in one.

It really has got the word out, people at my work who know I'm coaster geek keep saying to me about it too.
  22. Well I'm going Monday with wife, so it will be two people busier than Tuesday. Would think Monday would be a touch busier as Fridays and Mondays have a bit of weekend influence as far as I know. Both should be fine though, I've checked as much as I can on the school holidays and am sure no one is off until the week after.
