Looks like we have 'logo' for the park... Branding by Hemingway from the facebook page https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.796520557057783.1073741833.247930755250102&type=1

They very much do! I'm often arresting people who have either failed to pay their fine or show up in court following TV licence prosecutions. It's not about whether people want one, if they need one legally for their use they should get one and the rules are pretty clear. I personally love what the BBC does and what it stands for, so don't begrudge a penny of my licence fee. We'd all really miss it if it were gone, much more than we realise.

As someone who is vehemently against the ridiculousness R&R being used without a standby queue on rides, I actually think it is a good idea for the FN mazes. With tightly controlled allocations incorporating the fastrack users (also timed), it should work very well; the throughputs are much less susceptible to downtime or reductions, are manipulable by batches to smooth over minor variations in demand that do occur, and there's plenty else to do with all the rides open. Win win win. I hope they lose the standby for this trial, that queue would be horrible.

Went to see A Walk Amongst The Tombstones the other day. Twas very good, but I don't think I've ever seen a film with Liam Neeson in that wasn't. In future news, can't wait for this. Just hope they don't scew it up, it'll be easy to get very wrong. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-29536370

... and the world doesn't need any more AquaTrax.

Totally passed me by yesterday, but dlrp seems to be all sorts of knackered and doing things financially which I don't understand (but seem akin to taking out a few billion euro loan from Wonga) to try and fix it. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-29503360 http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b04kf7v4 from exactly 24 mins Will be interesting to see if this leads to some nice new shiny things to ride and turns it around, or if it's the beginning of the end. The initial reaction from shareholders seems to be a resounding 'non'.

I think it's just a good bit of marketing, I wouldn't read much into the actual content.

http://www.thedenverchannel.com/news/call7-investigators/call7-investigators-look-into-colorado-state-fair-ride-that-malfunctioned08262014 USA- Kids restraint fails on a ranger ride, injures shoulder . I've always wondered if it would be possible to hold yourself in place if your restraint failed on ome of these. It seems you can!

I was going to go by the best 'tache, but with such an array of fine examples I couldn't decide. So it went to best haircut instead...

They are the same Chocolate made by the same people. It's a draw! Aldi or Lidl?

Did you go on Time Machine? I know you like a good flat ride, and that's a great one!

What is that first pic actually of (apart from fire)? I can't work it out.

I don't really understand how you do this, but it's fantastic! Thursday's the day to go then, who'd have though? I always felt Tues and Weds were quietest. The only (unavoidable) problem is the source queue time data, which from Thorpe is often shockingly bad.

Not much happens in my town. The current headline board outside my local shop... (this refers to a man who likes bats, not Batman!)

Not really. As per the posts directly above yours there's a good few completely bare sites for plonking something straight on, and on top of that what they do have already is not tightly packed in at all. It might be a bit awkward planning wise but there's loads of space between what's there, and much more with some minor removals or relocations. It really is not a problem, and certainly not for any imminent development.

Can only talk of my own limited experience, bur the whole atmosphere changes a lot, caused almost as much by the parks reaction (which I'm not criticizing) as by the travelers themselves. By 'letting them do as they wish' I presume Fred refers to the excessive queue jumping, loud swearing and smoking everywhere (it's not all of them, happens every day, lets not be racist, yada yada yada), which are not things I'm able to tolerate myself. Last time I stopped a queue jumper pushing by me (which I will always do) I got threatened with a stabbing repeatedly for the remainder of my 20min Smiler queue. It's not a pleasant place to be, I'd avoid those days and I wish towers could 'work with the community' in some way to stop these weekends having such an impact on their guests.

Germany Road(works) Trip - Days 13&14 – Return of the Macks
pluk commented on Benin's blog entry in Benin's Bits & Bobs
This whole report has been a brilliant and inspiring read, thanks so much for it Benin. Each and every year I say I'll go Europa next year, it's about time I just got on with it. -
But that Deer is dead! How can you joke about it? (Sorry, only messing!)

I've learned a few things from this thread! Noahs Ark and Trauma Towers have both been closed bt BPPB? That's outrageous! Both clasics. It's a while since I've been! Didn't know they'd given up on Ring Racer entirely. 12 million Euros well spent there then. How has this no bankrupted S&S? -
It is quite funny, not in itself maybe, but the silly little jokes are perfectly acceptable. The life of a dear is not comparable to a human, and even then there can be humour derived from death. It might come from a dark place, but it's a reasonable coping mechanism and some deathly situations are unavoidably funny. You are in for a long hard life if you're going to get upset about such things! Anyway, back to ride accidents. USA - Worker nearly decapitates himself while inspecting a cable car. Nasty, and saved by a colleague on an estop button.

Brilliance ... Caution, contains swears.

What now? Really? If the Venison I had for dinner a couple of days ago was a person I doubt I would have eaten it.

The first one that springs to mind is Nights in White Satin - The Trip. Alien Encounter before it got Stitched up. Son of Beast in its original form. -
