I think the point has been made, it's best to just vote for what you want and not influence others as that just defies the whole point of the vote in the first place. This conversation ends now before it gets nasty. Carry on discussing the meet, but any furter concers over the votes please address via pm to the team. Thanks.

I've always presumed it must be easier to pump up the 'cleaner' water already in the system that needs practically no filtering than it would be constantly taking the 'dirty' water and having to filter it (to the extent that it is filtered). But then why other ones aren't like this I don't know.

The stall turn queue line was such an amazing place to watch the ride from. They kept the wrong section in operation when they cut it down, I'd love them to open it up again.

Congratulations!! It was impressive work.

It's amazing how much the park has changed in the 9 years since my visit. It must be the most changed established park over that period in the world
-
Absolutely not. There are plenty of people fed up with Chessington failing, but I don't know anyone that wants it to. It is a shadow if its former self but all we have seen is destruction, maybe amazing things will happen come the start of the season but from what we have seen, heard and experienced in the past there is no reason to suspect they will. As for whatever is happening in market square it may well be good, but whatever it is it should wait until the properly knackered areas of the park (and there are plenty of them) are fixed. This makes no sense.

I'm going to guess it is because there are areas of the park which are shockingly dilapidated, have been left to rot and have had tonnes of theming removed, and instead of fixing them they dig up an area that was acceptable and spend their time and money on that. Confirmed falls is being left, pretty much confirmed train is a half arsed compared to what we lost, Transylvania in general is a mess, their newest attraction is an embarrassment etc etc etc, so we dig up market square. It's madness. If the things I mention above have been in any way remedied I'll eat my shoes, we basically know they won't be from 'rumors' and history. It has been going on there for years, people only get so negative about things like this because they care, it is so sad to see Chessington in seemingly terminal decline from what it once was.

What on earth does this mean?! The standard ticket for this is £15, unless it is an evening event, which it is, so it is £5. Huh?

Sit at the front, works for me. Back is/was horrible.

Please not Snoarin'

It is the weirdest of referbs. The amount they seem to be spending on it must be huge, when the ride itself is pretty crap. I'd understand if when they finished they had a less crap ride but it sounds like it'll be the same only rockier. Rumours abound that they are actually moving the ride slightly to open up an expansion of the area, hopefully for a Forbidden Eye clone. That would be amazing.

http://www.newindianexpress.com/cities/chennai/3-Hurt-in-Accident-at-Amusement-Park/2014/01/16/article2001738.ece An Enterprise, stuck on high speed for 15 minutes because of a fault? Sounds amazing!

Sounds about right, the new 'worlds first' not even being a London's first. 'Shakespeare's England' sounds like it would be quite awful to me. I don't think they had big red buses in his time either, so that would make no sense.
-
OK, not a ride as such, but a water slide. The tallest in the world, can't wait to see it in action. Looks pretty terrifying to me, would still give it a go though!

Plans 'n' stuff Vengeance bus?

I think the naming is out of date, wouldn't expect anything to be going in the direction of a pirate theme just as it's being replaced!
-
Got that for you.

You should have packed Storm Surge in your case and dumped it back there. Looks like a nice clean fresh park, if things like Splash Battle are going round empty is it not doing very well, or was it just a bit cold for it?

Answering a 6 year old question that never got answered, did you mean Knightmare? I loved that! I remember when having a bag of crisps was an actual treat on a Saturday night, picking your flavour was a big important decision. Me, Mum and Sister on the sofa squabbling about which channel to watch, Jeremy Beadle, The A Team, some crappy game show, Paul Daniels and then Carney and Lacey once my sister had gone to bed. Then Sunday afternoons round my Grans house, endless sunny afternoons in the garden, called in for ham sandwiches or cheese on toast on my special plate with Bullseye on the tele. Happy carefree times.

As far as I know... Loggers and Rumba are 'open systems' of the lake water and are only filtered to the extent of removing lumps, not in a water cleaning sense. Tidal is a 'closed system' of proper filtered and cleaned water which can't just be pumped to and from the lake because of the chemicals used. Think I'm right in saying that?

"Documents submitted with the planning application show that the new attraction is expected to draw 600,000-700,000 visitors a year, with a capacity of 400 visitors an hour based on groups of 40 visitors entering the tour every six minutes. The tour will include 10 shows/rooms each lasting approximately six minutes, including a simulator ride in the Rotunda room. " They've found something to do with Vengeance then?!
