Depending on when I come home from uni and whether Benin is working or not I might be there :mellow:Haven't been to lego in ages

I don't particularly know how to phrase this without sounding really blunt....If you are stressing now with GCSEs and A-levels, uni may be a bit of a struggle. No support whatsoever, no telling you how to answer the exam or tricks for it. Basically its what you can remember and turn into a decent argument for the exam. You try it when you are faced with a lever arch folder full for each module and that doesn't include the recommended reading for the module. It's either for you or it isn't. Then try combining that with cooking, cleaning and shopping for yourself. You will be wishing for the days of GCSEs and A-levels, past papers and revision guides.

I loved Fantasmic when I saw it last week in Florida. Now I want to go and see the DisneySea version too. Not enough money or time to...

We lacked the Peter Andre cred

Walked past Miranda Hart coming out of the toilets in Land of Dragons at Chessie. Didn't exactly realise how tall she was.Saw Alison from Big Brother from Skyway the same day too.

OK. Here is Monday from my perspective ;)Having decided to forgo ERT (and at first thought we would regret this), we got to Towers close to 10. Tried to attempt the monorail but it was just generally failing at life. Ended up walking from the car park which was the first time I have done this. We passed a scary number of coaches for a Monday in March. We tried for Thirteen first but it was broken so it was off to Oblivion. Nothing liking walking round and round in circles through the queue line. I think it was Rita next before heading over to Forbidden Valley to pester Peter (and also Nemesis). Air's queue scared us so we just went to Nemesis. We then tried for Duel. This is because you always have to rush through with me because I'm a scaredy cat. This ended up being attempt 1 at Duel as we were just boarding when told not to as an alarm was going off so it was out via the disabled entrance.Mine train and rapids next before going to Sealife just for a quick wander through as usual. Still miss the rays, stupid spider crabs. Headed back towards the towers and ended up at Charlie. A bit of boat stackage and stupid people meant that we missed the TV room and had to stand in the spot room for a while after surprising one of the staff who wasn't expecting us. There was only one elevator being used which meant they were sending around empty boats.Woodcutters next which seems to be the go to place for us but the service was DREADFUL. I was stood trying to order for at least 20 minutes. At least they filled our AP flask up so that saved me some money on drinks. We then did Hex where the speakers are still quiet but it was good to do it with a few people, especially ones who didn't understand what was going on.Camped out at Thirteen as we watched it continuely test. They were sending people away but it was getting obvious that it would open. Waited for the phone call to open the gates before managing to do two rides with only very short waits. The drop still makes me scream and I didn't realise the backwards section was actually pretty forceful when you are near the front.Duel attempt 2 equalled an actual ride. Had my eyes shut as usual but went on for a second time with my eyes open. Wasn't so bad apart from when the ride had to be reset and which meant when it started moving I jumped at the first scary thing because at first I just thought all the lights were off.*tries to remember what else they did*I think we then went and pestered Peter for the rest of the day with a ride on Nemesis and Air in between (which actually had 0 minutes queue, walked literally straight on)

*has only just seen this* Well that will involve you actually going to Thorpe for one

Have lost all confidence in being able to pass my degree with the grade that I need. Also have no idea what I want to do after university which isn't helping

Never seen you so excited to see a t-shirt

Had a bit of a Thomas the Tank Engine moment after visiting Drayton.I had quite a few years of being exposed to children's tv thanks to my Mum being a childminder.Rugrats and Fireman Sam. Oh and Noddy.
-
Apart from Shockwave's track, Drayton is looking pretty clean and tidy. The food is still pretty dire but had a good day there. Just a tiny bit more TLC and it will be better. It's nice to see not only a new ride being built but also general TLC to the rest of the park at the same time.

There is always some excitement over a closed season when you are watching a ride go up. It's annoying when its PR hype rather than just being excited about the coaster itself.
-
I felt sorry for the staff who were having to turn guests away who looked very disgruntled about it. I feel sorry for any kid who just reached the 0.9m limit. It makes little sense when Towers and Thorpe haven't changed their limits.

Is that a Gareth I spy on the TV advert Benin?
-
Ter is nothing wrong with a bit of a northern accent. You all just scared of t'north
-
If you apply again you will be a in a better position. You will have your grades which would mean unconditional offers and will be in the middle of doing your gap year.

At least I can get home
-
It still looks weird to me just because I have only seen Oblivion with it's big hole so seeing it straighten out at the bottom is odd.Not long to go until I'm going. May leave Benin behind if he buys that ridiculous hoodie.
-
The colour of Rollercoaster's supports actually makes me want to be sick now. It is going to stand out so much from the behind the park. I feel sorry for anyone living opposite it. At least the white didn't used to look that bad.

We stood our ground until they spat at us and we just wanted them away from us.
-
Queue jumpers on Rush. Me and my two friends stood our ground and got spat at. That was a real pleasant experience.

The sheer stupidity of some Americans really amazes me. What happened in the past, happened in the past. It shouldn't be dragged up and then said what happens is karma. The world is about moving on and helping each other. My thoughts and prayers really go out to Japan. It is hard to really understand the sheer magnitude of the event when you are so far away and can only look at photos and not see the devastation yourself.
